Brian Kelly shoulders 100% of the burden

This team has a lot of shortcomings. I'm not going to sit here and blame any other person because they were either brought to campus to perform on the field or inpress box to coach to the best of their ability.
Sloan has no business being an SEC coordinator. Probably shouldn't be anywhere near a headset at the collegiate level based on what we've seen. But he's certainly is doing all he can. Brian Kelly gave him the keys to the offense and employed him in his role. Brian Kelly hired Brad Davis and has allowed an anemic running attack since he's been head coach. Jayden Daniels skewed the rushing numbers while he was here. Check out the rushing average from the backs during Daniel's time. It's just as bad as it is now.
Brian Kelly also fired Tommy Moffitt immediately. Can't really measure the impact but I know that we get pushed around a lot.
Brian Kelly is also the coach that frantically scurries to plug whatever leak he had in the previous season, while completely ignoring and assuming the complimentary side of the ball will hold serve
Went bananas in the portal last year to fix the defense while being satisfied that who was coming back on the offensive line was good enough. Added braylon Moore but he's just one guy.
So yes while I do get mad at the play calling, I think everyone should direct their disgust at the man who built this.
They have 100 staff members and not a single one of them knew that AJ was kicked out of the fourth quarter in Houston's last game. That's terrible scouting. What the hell do all these people do? At the time it might have seemed like a reasonable oversight giving the complexity of the portal and how recruiting has changed but in retrospect it's one small example of poor preparation and bad decision making. Of course AJ is on this roster either way and I'm glad we have him, but having to rearrange your depth chart on Wednesday before the season opener because you had your eyes closed is unacceptable. Now all this poor decision-making manifest itself yesterday against an opponent that you should have taken care of.
But don't dare ask the king about his running game. He'll just point to a play where Florida sold out up the gut to create havoc and Durham darted down the left edge on a play where Florida had no outside linebacker or defensive end outside the B gap
Kelly......

Not all of it. We have paid players out there that suck. There’s blame enough for everyone

The Moffitt effect is real.
It all starts in the trenches and we have issues on the O line. That falls on BK.

Kelly seems to be incapable of putting the pieces in place to develop an entire team.
If the offense is on fire, we will have the worst defense in the SEC
if the defense is elite, he will have missed on a couple OL targets, or not properly developed the raw talent he has
If the passing game is functioning well, we will not be able to run the ball
The man simply can’t pull together a well rounded team, and we now have a sizable case study to determine this as fact
He is not going anywhere anytime soon. But I have little faith that his tenure at LSU will result in anything meaningful

It is always the HC. Always. That has been true from the beginning. BK has few clues.

Yes they're paid but they didn't bring themselves here and they didn't write their own check.
If someone paid you $250,000 a year to do a job you couldn't excel at, you'd still probably take the job. No matter how bad Nuss may play, I know he's doing his best. If the coach keeps putting him out there he's going to play to his best ability. And that's just an example, this isn't all in the quarterback. When a five Man line can't pass protect against the three man rush, it really wouldn't matter if you had Tom Brady or Drew Brees back there

Moffitt mailed it in after Les Miles was fired. C'mon man.
It was only after he was let go by BK that he decided to get back on the horse.

He gets the blame for the bad and the praise for the good.
That is what the HC burden is
