I did. I think it was the push I needed to come clean. Strangely I don’t really Miss using, but I do miss beer. There was some heavy drinking in between usage. Is that something that one can enjoy in moderation over time?

...not like this thread wasn’t derailed enough.

Dude, I am at a loss of words right now. I love both of you and everyone else going through this.

I stopped at Walmart on the way home. I'm watching the LSU softball game and will eat the fried chicken and some of the cole slaw I bought at Walmart. Soon after I will go to sleep

Hopefully, I will be normal again tomorrow after sleeping and will beat you down again like you probably deserve.

For tonight I just want to say that you both have my utmost respect and I am pulling for you.

AND frick you for making me feel like I do right now. I'm usually smiling and laughing posting on this board. I am not right now.

I can't drink. 2 beers and I would be calling around looking for pain pills and if I have 2 or 3 of those now I would be shite faced. Excercise saved my life. I got addicted to exercising and eating healthy. It also helps relieve stress and it's something you can do as a family, even if it's cheesy workout videos or just walking around the block or walking the dogs. Please don't be shy about asking me about this stuff in the future.

Well is that good or bad? If he didn't use the word "sauce" like the morons on this website it probably means it is a real person with a little smarts at least. Is he a reliable person?

And just what are you?

Another little punk moron who didn't even get picked for dodge ball in middle school.

It appears you and I have a lot in common and share an identical past.

This is really what it comes down to and to add to that, you can't beat yourself up if you have a bad day. My philosophy is always be better tomorrow than you were today. Also, something that works for me is that I hang a big desk calender on the back of my bedroom door and I put an X over everyday that I'm sober. That visual really helps me.

Same here.. I’m going on 4 years now, and I’ve tried to teach/remind myself how to remember things that I need to remember.. Especially for work, I just moved to TX and took a big promotion at the end of November, so my brain has been on overload the last few months..

This is mine as well.

I do the same thing but I have a "sober" App on my phone that I use instead. It accomplishes the same thing as the calendar and the only difference is I can take the App everywhere with me. lol

I heard Marshall Graves is transferring to 3-29 Chicago St. He said "At least they have a coach."

Just stopped in to say you are worse as a message board hype-man than you are at running 40 yards without falling on your face or going through life without committing a felony.

Derek, if Wade is looking at, say, a felony, is there any advice you’d give him based on personal experience?
