Actually you don't know that. He may turn out great. But it has been reported by those who get to watch practice that he was not yet very accurate and was not the best at reading the defense. I wish he would have stayed because as a RSF he was going to get his chance to compete. Burrow is most likely here 1 year if he has a big season and MB may never get physical enough to handle SEC Defense pounding. None of these guys are going to be worth a damn though if that offensive line doesn't step up for the first time in a long time and have a solid year. But that's stating the obvious.

Or maybe he felt that he wasn't getting a fair shake since his Meyer was more heavily involved in the recruitment of Haskins and Martell while Joe's primary recruiter (Tom Herman) was no longer with the program?
