Nola fielded .960 as a freshman. Bregman is at .938. Not even close.

My smoking crack has nothing to do with facts.

Though, Nola did go .967, then .950, and finally rebounded as a senior with .980

You mean playing the ball to the side instead of in front... Unorthodox is being polite.

it's good to see others agree with me... I got chastized in the middle of the season for saying just this!

.950 isn't bad for a SS given all the chances they have to make a play. .980 is off the charts for a SS.

I'm not bashing Bregman. I think he's good enough in the field but not comparable to Nola. Bregman will make his name with the stick whereas Nola made it with his solid defense.

ML scouts don't have Bregman as being a SS at the next level. FWIW.

The actual reason I was looking online for his HS report was to see if one of his weaknesses was playing balls to his side when playing SS. U are not the only one who has noticed that he tends to do this. Usually his handeye coordination is good enough to make the play on bad hops but he loses the safety net of playing off his chest.

I was just posting stats. I honestly thought Nola's JR year was much worse. It seemed awful at the time.
