No he hit shot that the LF made a great play on... nothing close to choking.

You know nothing about baseball.

That’s a hit nine out of ten times.

Nintendo made a great catch.

He didn't choke, but the others saying he "hit the ball on the nose" or "hit a line drive" are not being truthful either. He got jammed and it was a soft line drive closer to a bloop than a hard hit ball.

Is a soft line drive not a line drive?

Look...he certainly did not have his best nights at the plate the last 2 games but defensively, he’s been phenomenal, and that’s putting it mildly. Benetendi made a great catch on a hit that if it’s 6 inches shorter, could have tied the game.

That is not what choking looks like

It was an inch a way from being a game winning hit, just a better defensive play

What is a choke is watching Tyler White go up with the bases loaded with 2 outs and not even swing at one pitch

Nah.
Maybe if the Astros LF wasnt 315 ft it would have been a base hit.

He got jammed big time. That was a soft liner/blooper that drops anywhere but Minute Maid's little high school field.

Nahhh, he put the ball in play and the defender made a spectacular play.

Sometimes the chips just fall the other way. Bregs did all he could with that at bat.

....and yes going 0 for 5 in a crucial ALCS game at home is choking. It happens to the best of them.
