Again, I disagree with Jobert being the worst fielder. I think all of them are good, though. None of them has an error, and Jobert has as many assists as the other two, combined. He has a cannon for an arm (as does Kling). He has that third baseeman's arm and quick release.
All good. I will say recorded errors versus actual errors is a real thing. Jobert had a real whiff in RF running into a fly out that went off the top of his glove while reaching up. Don't remember the game, I've watched most of them this season, so I cross section games.

That said, if you've read tRant the last few weeks, Jobert was the easy target and I think it was unwarranted.

I remember that play. That was an exception and not the norm for him, though, and that was not an easy play on a windy day. What has surprised me is his that he is so much quicker than he was last year - both on the basepaths and in the field.

Kling has had a couple of plays where he turned the wrong way and managed to regain his bead on the ball after an awkward turn.

Pearson probably has the best instincts in the field, but the weakest arm.

Again, not a weak fielder in the bunch. I wonder if Jobert's weight loss is helping him in the field and hurting him at the plate...

His range in the outfield is a problem. Its cost us a couple flyballs this year alone. Im glad he played well today, but its not the norm and hasnt been. When no one is taking that spot up for grabs, you play the potential. And that's kling

Early on when he was in LF he badly misplayed a few. I'm not bashing the young man, but only saying that his OF play has not been "good all year".

But In his defense the same can be said about many other batters in anyone’s lineup against good pitching.

He looks bad in the outfield most of the time, especially on balls right at him or that he needs to take a drop step. He's fine coming in and using his athleticism, but his reads are otherwise poor. Very good arm, though. Kling and Pearson also have very good arms, too, and are more complete defensive OFs.

I think the OF plays out much like was expected. You'll see alot of Pearson, Kling, and Jobert. Some in longer spurts than others but they'll get plenty chances. Morgan will also play out there, sometimes in longer spurts than others. It all comes down to who is hitting, which means Jones and Beloso kind of dictate the OF rotation. Right now, Jones and Beloso need to play...so Tre goes to LF, and you have 1 spot to play with in RF.
