Seems to be this year's guy for opposing QB's to try and find in man coverage. He did get a pic, but it was a deflection off of his man and he was several yards off the guy; he did make a few tackles but there were at least 2 overthrown balls on plays that his man was open. Hoping he works out.

HUH?? Besides the fact that Hook was a CB, we had no one else to play at that spot at that time, check out LSU's record when Hookfin first started, and when he was a senior. You wanta wait 3 years for that?

What I saw is he can tackle and knows how to wrap up! That is a huge recommendation on this team!

He looked like a completely different player against Vandy, than he did against UW. I hope he keeps it up.

Do people expect every DB LSU has to blanket every WR on every play?

The other teams HAVE to complete passes. It HAS to happen. WR catch passes, it is thier job.

Every time a pass is completed someone has to comment on how our DBs cant fricking cover.

Its football. WR catch passes and RBs run the damn ball. Taylor is a SS, you cant expect him to blanket WRs every time he lines up on one. He did fine in his first start at LSU while playing a new postion.

Am I the only person who enjoyed watching a bunch of younger players in our secondary out there? I saw several of these guys making plays. They are only going to get better when they get some serious game experience. We could have a great defense a couple of years down the road.

Way to support your young players. It's these kinds of attitudes I can't understand. If I'm a recruit what does this say to me that some of the LSU fans could say this about me down the road. Have some pride in your university.

Well shite, after his first start at LSU in a new defense at a new postion, let just yank his schollie.

Lets move harry coleman back to SS while we are at it.
