He'll clearly play better then AJ and reports from fall practice will indicate he looks better than AJ, getting reps with 1's, etc.

Will not play a down against Wisconsin and we'll have 3 years of flipping between the two of them.

but they do not want him to be the starter at this juncture if you know what I mean.

I don't know what you mean. Please tell me.

Threads like this seem to put the fan base in an 'either/or' situation. Fans seem to think they have to choose sides (if fans are 'pro' one of the QBs then they must be 'anti' the other QBS.

Let's just hope both develop and contribute positively for the team. Both are great young men and deserve our support.

This. Cheer for the name on the front of the jersey and quit trying to be a coach from your keyboard. The guy who gives the team the best chance of winning will be on the field.

Based on how Lee played the rest of his career I would say playing as a redshirt freshman didn't hurt his playing ability. His head coach on the other hand developed an irrational fear of the forward pass that affects him to this day.

Yep it is all Les Miles fault folks! Jarrett Lee never thrived then and his football career is over now because of Les Miles' fear of throwing down field. A fear that haunted Miles so much that he was able to get two LSU receivers over 1000 yards in the same year on dump offs and screens right? When LSU can't throw down field it is always Miles fault...logical!

False! If it was up to the rant LSU would start all true freshman every year. Every year everyone falls in love with a recruiting class and claims they should all start. By the time they are sophomores they all should be benched for the next recruiting class.

This x a million. The rant has so many psychophants that think everyone that has raw talent can come In and start on day1.

I say true. This dude has talent off of the charts. He is a talent. I think he will be the starter against Wisconsin and I think we will have an exciting offense. Thoughts?

False. Brandon is indeed a tremendous talent but the competition is far from being over. I've said since the day he announced that he has a real shot but those that stress AJ's experience have a valid argument. The fall practices will be telling & I personally trust CCC to put the best chance of winning on the field. Best news from all this, LSU is poised well for the future.

he wasn't a true freshman so no

but do yall think we are a nc contender with Jennings? start the better player. If it's Harris, let him take his lumps now.
