LSU was in the Spread with 3 Receivers. Harris faked the Run up the middle and ran right to the End Zone. It was a really nice play! You can go to YouTube and see the play.

That is a read option play, not an RPO

I would like to de-rail this thread and say I believe Chark will thrive in the new Jags offense with Foles.

So were the TD’s Matt Mauck scored against Tennessee in the 2001 SEC Championship game, what is your point?

Go watch the 05 peach bowl. The 06 or 07 offense.

We were wide fricking open, pedal to the metal.

The pick six 08 season broke Les and probably cost us 2 National titles.

The QB doesn’t run the ball on an RPO. He either hands the ball off, or passes it. Unless of course it’s a QB draw RPO.

It's like you dont even know what R-P-O stands for

It's not Run-Run-Option

Literally false. a lot of RPOs are essentially modern triple option plays. Usually a Read Option with a third read (or first depending on play call) being a quick pass if left unchecked or misplayed by the defense.

I’d be more inclined to watch it if you would’ve linked the video.

I hate agreeing with you.

Did we run 1 RPO play last year? We ran a ton of read option, especially in short yardage hurry ups but I can’t remember an RPO.

Run-Punt-Offense? LSU has been running that for years.
