Hopefully, he can coach UT's QBs to be as good as he was.

If that guy was recruiting my son, I would show him the door. Never amounted to an average QB. How the hell could he coach!!!

Oh STFU. Your son won't have one tenth of the talent Brandon did.

BH was recruited by Saban, Meyer and Herman, Malzahn, Mullen, etc. I think we all know what the common denominator was while at Lsu.

We saw a glimpse of how good BH was when in came in as a true freshman against State. Its funny how quickly people forget in 2015 we were #2 in the country in Nov and on the road against #4 Bama (yes, we were ranked higher than Bama if you can believe that). BH had one of the highest QBR ratings in the country going into that game. I don't think I need to remind anyone how putrid the offensive game plan was that night.

Most coaches weren't that good at their positions. That's kinda why they're coaches and not enjoying their millions of dollars from a HOF career.

Not to reopen this can of worms, but there were at least 8 or 9 extremely talented QB’s who looked like they never should’ve been allowed within 100 yards of a D1 college football program after 3 years in ole Lester’s development program. Many, many QB’s careers were ruined by that shite offensive system

He got sold a lie by Les and Cam. He was done a huge disservice that affected his development in a very negative way. Les and Cam failed him.

So did Fedora fail him also? Or was it all still Les & Cam’s fault at UNC also?

I'm wondering why he's on Texas's staff and not LSU's?? The kid was a great ambassador for LSU when he was at LSU, and he starts his coaching career off with Herman and Texas and not Orgeron and LSU. Smh! No, he doesn't deserve the criticism that he gets from LSU's fanbase, but we are talking about LSU's fanbase. Lol I have no ill feelings towards Brandon Harris and wish him the best in his young carrer.

Brandon Harris was only successful against prevent defenses in the 2 minute offense. He could not consistently execute a game plan anywhere else on the field. Les wasn’t going to run his offense that way, so BH wasn’t going to be successful. Period

Probably has something to do with this Orgeron quote:

quote:

“In order for us to take out Danny, we would have to really think that Brandon can go in there and do a better job,” he said. “And he’d have to show us that in practice. And right now, we don’t believe that

What the hell do you think?? Lmao Some of you I swear! You expect Larry Fedora to do what exactly?? To fix in 1 year or season the damage that Cameron and Miles did in his whole career at LSU?? Lol Not gon happen, Fedora isn't a magician, but you could see glimpses of promise during that 1 season with NC. He would have spurts in games of looking like a great QB where he was slinging the ball all over the place connecting with Carolina receivers before doing something dumb reverting back to LSU's Brandon Harris in ruining a promising drive that he had going downfield. Had Fedora had longer to work with him I think he could have completely changed all the bad stuff he had developed while at LSU, and who knows what could have happened, maybe he could have had a shot at pro ball because the kid had an awesome rocket like arm, so sad to see it wasted now

Yeah, that's a pretty shitty comment to make about your QB.

Brandon Harris was a terrible QB. Some of you are on another planet if you think Harris ever was going to be a true SEC caliber QB.

Harris also bombed out at UNC where he was pulled in favor of a true freshman.

Harris could not make the throws he needed to make. Period.

Good luck to Brandon. He handled himself with class while he was here.

I never heard a bad word about his character. Brandon, IMO, is a great choice to work with young men and I hope he has a successful coaching career. Maybe he will be HC or a coordinator at LSU one day.
He made a bad choice when he signed with Les. He had the "chest" but it was a bad fit, like most QBs who signed during that period.
I don't understand the attacks on the man.

He could throw it.

He just couldn't throw it accurately and on time to the right player.

If you consider a great leader someone that shits his pants and melts when the game is on the line, then yes he was great.

Give me Andrew Hatch before Harris. Guy fricking sucked

found the connection here; Fedora is an analyst at UT now. I assume Harris is a GA of some sort. Herman also recruited Harris to Texas after he left LSU
