I hear you, but there must be something to it because almost every coach us exactly the same way.

Thanks for your confidence, redtiger

I didn't evaluate these guys. In fact, I have never seen most of them play. My "facts" are a recitation of the coaches' past decisions.

When JJ came in as a true freshman and beat out the second year JL, that was it for JL. The only way JL ever saw the field again was due to JJ being unable to play. Same deal here.

Bama had a QB battle between Sims and McCarron. Close battle according to the homers. McCarron had a slight edge. What happened after that? Where is Sims now?

Yet there's one small difference with that theory.
Cam Cameron wasn't around during this "past" you reference.

Are you kidding? Cam's the one who picked AJ over all the guys you think are going to challenge next year. For the next 8 months we're going to have a QB derby. But it's all coach-speak. AJ takes the snaps against Wiscy.

Why do you talk out both sides of your mouth?
Cameron wasn't even around during this past you posted about earlier.

Get out of here with this fact stuff...... You know nothing of what can and will happen in the future. Nothing..... That's the only FACT yes as of right now Jennings is the starter, BH has the most potential...... Mayb? No one knows what may happen? A light comes on for one of these guys and they could take the reigns in a heartbeat. FACT

Agree. If Stephens Rivers was going to be the QB, he would have been the #2 behind Met. It's between AJ, BH and Rettig and the spring should tell a lot. AJ has shown he can lead in a pinch so I give him the nod with Harris having some packages next fall. That's my two cents.

Idk about that he's a damn good QB, hell I watched the game and have seen him in HS. He def has the most potential of all our QBs. You never know when a kid might mature and become a real game changer. I'm just glad we have 4 very good QBs to choose from, chances are one of them will break out and become the leader of this O. Who ever it is I hope has a big year to continue recruiting even better QBs. Hell anyone of these kids could grow even more? Tell you who I like...... That kid from Calvary...... Originally from TX!!! I think he's a competitor & great kid, who cares if he's 6'1 or 6'5? He's a player!! Smart too....... One thing is for sure, who ever gets the nod next year....... If they struggle we need to try another guy, because that guy might play best when the game is on?!

"The QB Whisperer", George Whitfield, compares Brandon Harris to Jameis Winston. This is a good interview. He says that Cam Cameron is his mentor and that he's learn more football from Cam, who he's known since he was 12 years old, than anyone else.
