Quite sanctimonious. I love how you use. You are not a part of the team. Harris always gives I thus best. Where did you play ball?

I've seen vast improvement from the Wisconsin game until now.

This. And he missed on a lot less instances before he sustained the injury. The really bad stuff happened in the latter part of the season. Earlier in the season there was a serious issue with drops. (Seems like we were averaging 5-6 a game at some point) When the drops improved, right around Alabama, he started losing accuracry. Which is very likely the result of being injured. He has another Summer as THE guy to improve and his % shot up to 61% with the extra time to prepare for the bowl game. Hopefully after he heals from surgery, we see more improvement in the Spring game.

If you want to blame the recs

Im not blaming them altogether. I'm simply stating they dropped a number of passes that skewed Harris's numbers all year long. They didnt do the kid any favors at all.

Look, man. No one in this thread said that Harris didn't struggle in spots last season. There is no denying it. But he also looked really good at times. In that Florida game he made some big time throws (the pair of touchdowns to Chi immediately come to mind).

All people are saying here is that even great QBs (like Dak) struggle with youth. Even Mett had similar stats to BH in his first year starting in the SEC (as a junior).

The point is, the kid is talented. And he was nicked at the end of the season. So there's no reason to think that he will do anything other than improve.

Also, it's pretty gauche to talk about all the money and awesome things you have on a message board (not to mention the overt racism). But I'm sure a mature, educated, well-to-do gentleman like yourself already knows that.

What I don't understand is all the people on this board who believe that there's no chance that a true sophomore, who was a first time starter, won't be better in his junior year.

All logical people agree with you, including myself. Unfortunately we find it necessary to read the rant where the majority of posters defy logic.

Please keep posting. You get more and more desperate and more and more pathetic with each post. And it's wonderfully hilarious. TIA.

February and April 15th, that’s what we in the "BIZ" like to call crunch time.

It's not like it's all work and no play you know.... after april 15th, it's what we in the "BIZ" call, party time.

mett turned the corner big time at the end of his Jr year. You are saying Harris did the same?

Mett enrolled at Ga. 1/09 and started for LSU 9/12. Harris enrolled at LSU 8/14 and became the starter in 9/15. That's a pretty big difference in time in the program before starting and experience playing college football after HS.

Mett started out pretty good in 2012 averaging over 200 yds passing a game with like a 65% completion rate for the month of Sept. It was the Month of Oct which saw him struggle big time and had some here calling for him to be replaced. He turned it back around beginning with Bama.

Harris doesn't have to be Mett like to be a good SEC QB. He just has to make Ds respect his passing game with a higher completion rate. imo
