Did anyone else see him punt the ball 75 yards in the air right at the end of the half time warm ups? He did kick it with the wind at his back but damn, this guy can flat out kick the shite out of a football.

Foot to ground, it was during warm ups. He kicked it from the 35 out of the endzone.

so that's a net of about 30 yards on the punt. he would be advised to work on hang time and kicking inside the 20

It was in warm ups not an official punt. So it was a net of nothing.

That's pretty damn stupid.

It was warmups...that's 60+ yard punt from there. It's an impressive feat. I watched him in pregame warmups during the Mississippi State game and came away with the same impression of Wing.

Why does it hurt your feelings that Wing can really kick the ball so much that you have to make a really lame argument?

Yeah, but can he scoop and score? If not, significant dropoff at the position.

I saw the kick. He is a true freshman. The superfan next to me said he's being redshirted this year and is working through consistency and accuracy issues as he is developing.

I watched him kick in warmups. He is one of the 3 #38s on the team. Most of his punts seem very low to me compared to the other guys. he definitely needs to work on consistency and hang time. Ole Miss's punter on the other hand was legit.
