No i dont care about working the numbers..im just mesmerized at the stupidity of this board thinking that lsumatt is some sort of genius for doing simple math. Any poster with half a brain can come up with the same numbers if the want to take the time.

I see no other way...

1st in Harris
2nd in Coach's

We've played two top 25 teams

Oklahoma has played none..as in 0
Bama has played one...as in 1

DO THE MATH..

Yes cant wait for the lsumatt lovefest to start.. maybe one day rantards will realize how simple the bcs math is and how to look up the opensource algorithms of some of the polls.

Maybe one day Catman will realize the Rant doesn't want to work for that info, we rather have someone provide it to us. Ahh yes... The simplicity of opensorce whobuhduhwhaties.

Maybe one day you'll stop being an a-hole.

Or can I assume that you were on here in 2007 telling us how we could still be in & then have it happen?

I'll wait for the predictions of someone knowledgeable, like lsumatt
I can't wait until the BCS comes out. I know we control out destiny at this point, but I always look forward to the "lsumatt" part of the season.

He also said there was no way Alabama or LSU would make the title game.

He means currently ranked. If you are talking ranked at the time then LSU has Oregon, MSU, WVU, and Florida. He said LSU had 2 meaning #9 Oregon and #11 WVU

ETA: I now see that PSU is now ranked in the shitty coaches poll

I have never claimed calculating BCS numbers was difficult. In fact, I usually show easy the formula is in my first post of the season. People like it though, so I am happy to do it.

However, I would bet there are about 5 people max that visit the rant that can reproduce the Colley Matrix and it is analyzing the computer polls that I enjoy most. I have no problem with anyone criticizing me on this, but at least show me your algorithms for re-reproducing the BCS computers first.

Looking forward to posting soon, but busy these days. Obviously not much need for discussion regarding LSU's chances anyhow.

If LSU loses close to Alabama, the dilemma for the Coaches and Harris polls will be deciding where to slot LSU. I'm convinced that an undefeated Wisconsin will have a tough time finishing ahead of a one-loss LSU if Alabama, Wisconsin and Boise State are the only undefeated teams. Wisconsin will need at least one more undefeated buffer team besides Boise State between them and LSU in the human polls.
