Absolutely. Missed tackles plus precision passing The melt is misplaced.
I don’t understand how anyone who watched the game can come to any other conclusion.

The D needs to be better than it played Saturday night overall. We need to pressure the QB and get off the field on 3rd down.
No need to panic or point fingers. Just be better and make adjustments.

I really like aranda but the last 3 games vs good offenses have been awful No other way to look at it
Another way to look at it - (1) the A&M game has been discussed ad nauseum about how the refs kept the game going, even to the point of calling PI on Greedy to essentially hand the win to A&M; (2) LSU was missing half it's defensive starters in the UCF game and still was more than capable of decisively beating them; and (3) Hermann has shown he can do this to the best of teams including Georgia in the Sugar Bowl earlier this year and in the playoffs (while at OSU) a few years back against Bama.
That's what's called "perspective."
What is called "lack of perspective" is attacking a top-5 DC, LSU's best defensive coach since Saban, after a hard-fought, character-building win on the road in front of a national audience.
No one is concerned about Aranda except a small group of LSU fans who lack perspective and who let their emotions govern their comments and actions.

would like to know how many missed tackles we had. It seemed like most of the night we had players in position to make the tackle and they failed to do so. I think it was more of a tackling issue than a scheme issue.
This is correct. We had people in place to make plays, but they didn't.

Aranda should have made some adjustments..I really think bump and run would of killed Texas or just put stingley in the slot on dumervil. Should have tried something different but maybe he was caught out in the Joe movement like everybody else.

AND he is the highest paid assistant coach in the nation. You think these are valid reasons so that people should not question the results?
He gets great results. As good as it better than any other DC out there.

AND is tied for 8th place with the Arkansas head coach in the SEC in salary. Is matching or exceeding expectations but YES bash away.
No one was bashing Orgeron you stupid frick. God fricking damn, you are obsessed with Orgeron.
You really should consider getting professional help for this.

You can’t just ignore overtime, either for the defense or the offense. It happened.
Starting at the 25 is nothing like a normal game situation. Even for you, this is an unexpectedly bad take.

The Notre Dame game was lost by a fluke error by our DB and a bad decision to go for a FG at the one inch line. I see little to condemn Aranda for in that loss.

It’s no a vendetta on my end. It’s facts and stats. He is t the God you guys make him out to be. Outside of cupcakes, his Defensive schemes are sub par / mediocre. He is a good coach, but he isn’t the best like many claim.

I’m not being critical of anyone, but just pointing out an observation:
When the other team misses a tackle, we say it was a broken tackle by the ball carrier. When our defender misses a tackle, it was simply a missed tackle. He could be going against Bo Jackson in his prime, but it would be a missed tackle and not Bo being awesome.

Their players were more physical than ours. They broke tackles with relative ease.
I don't think there's a whole lot to blame here. I really think our guys just underestimated the physicality of the longhorns.

Tell me how amazing he was against MS State.
Tell me how amazing he was against Troy.
Tell me how amazing he was against A&M.
Tell me how amazing he was against Texas (without our improved O, we get obliterated).
Quit acting like he is infallible. The guy's defense just gave up over 500 yards to UT lol.
500 yards. Let that sink in. Sitting here trying to say he is the best DC in the nation is silly. You have the wrong tiger team for that.

Is this your first time on the board moron?
My point is the people crying in this thread when no one cries in other bashing threads.
If someone has concerns or questions they should be able to discuss it on this board regardless of who the coach is. Either that or no discussion should be allowed regardless of who the coach is.
If you are going to cry about this thread you should be crying in all the threads that do the same thing.
And your reasoning why posters shouldn't discuss Aranda was just plain idiotic.

The team that gave up 35 points to USCe?

I thought the 1st half the defense looked pretty good it was the 2nd half between the cramping from the 98-degree heat and that fricking 18 play drive that gassed them. Aranda will get it corrected.
Chaisson was being held the entire game with not one call by the refs.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do. Take away his biggest threat. Unfortunately, he had a hell of a night throwing the ball, and our DBs did not have their best game (or 2nd half anyway, as the defense did great in the first half).
