Ok fine... lsu wins out they are top 8 without any doubt. Sec tourney and other win % unchanged.

7 straight and 6 of those over top 15 3 on the road before the tourney we are top 8 and it's not debatable.

Top 8 what? Seed? Yeah, that was a given regardless of RPI. 21 SEC wins plus winning 12 of your last 14 regular season games would do it. But RPI top 8 "Without any doubt" just isn't true. The teams ahead could technically play just as well and hold their spots. And their opponents could win as well improving their opponent winning %.
ETA: Not to say that we wouldn't. I think we do. Just arguing with "without a doubt" on your part which, at this point, seems a little hypocritical.

Why do we even have rpi and rankings if in the end a committee sits down with a cocktail on Sunday afternoon and just picks this shite. I hate statistical websites saying we've addressed "various scenarios" and with certainty can say anything when it's all bs. You just argued with me making the exact same statement which tells me you have a similar mind if it's not your thread.

And I think rankings/RPI help the uninformed fan. That includes me. I can't watch every game. My problem with them is that rankings shouldn't come out until mid April. Preseason is pointless and only leads to pollster biases who have a hard time admitting what they thought was wrong.

"There is now no scenario" - that's as certain as it gets. Caveats can't undo that. They only undermine it.

We've already established that the title upsets you. But it's a title limited by characters. I could have added "according to Boyd's World" at the end I suppose. Can't now though. And I could take your suggestion and completely reword it, but then I'm "backtracking" according to others. I'd rather just leave it and lean on the OP content that explains since the beginning the issues with the site's scenarios

That and he's wrong about LSU's remaining games. I don't think he picked up on us losing he San Diego St game. It says we still have 3 home games remaining.

That seems right. Two versus Auburn and NWST. I think it was updated before last night's Auburn game.

This is dumb. You claim "No scenario", but yet you admit you are assuming other teams hold and not including conference tourney.
Seems like a fairly simple scenario if you include those factors...which are huge factors.

No. I claimed that LSU would get a top 8 RPI if we won out. This site had a different conclusion based on a calculation that it admits is flawed. I just stated a thread on it.
