No bcs bowl is taking Baylor unless they have to. Baylor is the worst travelling team on earth.

@RandyRosetta: My media friends in SC projecting Gamecocks to the Capital One with an Auburn win in the SEC CG, to the Cotton Bowl if Mizzou wins.

If Missouri beats Auburn do they jump Bama in the BCS rankings?
Without a doubt. If Mizzou and MSU win, then FSU will be 1 and The Zou will be 2.

With Okie St. Losing any chance we get them in the Cotton Bowl?

OK State looks like they will be in Cotton but whether we are is iffy.

Good chance at Cotton if Auburn wins.
Scenario would be
Auburn and Alabama to BCS games
South Carolina to Cap1
LSU to Cotton and Missouri to Outback under the East/West rules for those to games.
Just a possible scenario...

Missouri playing in the Cotton would make sense because they're a former Big 12 school playing against an former rival. They would travel for this game as well. This is the same reasoning why A&M playing Oklahoma last year made a good fit. Which is why I think we'll play on a New Year's Day bowl.
I tried to tell yall Missouri was playing in Cotton Bowl if they lose today, but noooooo everyone was hellbent on LSU going.
@kbohls: Cotton Bowl expected to take OU or OSU (depending on if OU gets a BCS bid) versus Missouri or South Carolina, bowl source says."

Those scenarios look good; but, I don't think LSU's chances of getting picked by the Cotton are very good.
The scuttlebutt right now is that the Cotton has more interest in Mizzou than in LSU, and with the "failsafe" rule in place, I believe that the Cotton could choose The Zou ahead of the Outback.
That would drop LSU to the Gator.

Outback likely takes Lsu in that scenario

I just have zero confidence that the Outback will take LSU. There are too many rumors that the Outback wants Johnny Football and the big TV ratings that ATM will bring.

sooo, Duke in chick fil a? jesus.

Very likely. My guess is that the Chicken will take ATM or LSU, in that order. LSU may very well fall to the Gator.

Chic Fil A won't take LSU in back to back years, Outback/Gator will take LSU and Chic Fil-A will take A&M. They will make some kind of deal where Missouri and USC go to the SEC West bowl and LSU goes to a SEC East bowl.

So you think Outback takes A&M over us?
Posted on 12/7/13 at 7:24 pm to Off McVoy
Yep. JFF, plus bigger TV ratings, plus the chance to match up former Big12 rivals.
Posted on 12/7/13 at 7:33 pm to jrodLSUke
No way. Outback takes LSU.
