frick Michigan......the bowl shaft is getting old.

Besides, LSU will play on the level so don't expect a Michigan beat down. Les will have it at 34-31 with 5 min left in the 4th.

WTF is TGBFL?

Thank you Golfer. I wonder if any of these posters have been to those areas.

Been going to football games in Jacksonville since 1965, sport. I happen to think Fernandina Beach and St. Augustine are relatively interesting historical places that can be enjoyed in the winter without regard to weather. Nothing wrong with the other places mentioned, just my subjective opinion.

If its the Gator, that means LSU was the 7th SEC team selected (Auburn, Alabama, USC, Mizzou, A&M, UGA). The Mississippi schools and Vandy will round out the SEC bowls.

frick the Gator Bowl, frick the 11am start. Tired of the bowl process. As wonderful and exciting as the regular season is, college football is a epic failure when it comes to the post season. shite is getting old. Bottom line is, if we continue going 9-3, we better get used to the mediocre bowls that nobody gives 2 shits about except the teams involved. Nobody and I mean nobody will give a a damn about this game except us!

LSU vs Michigan?

I'm interested in that.

LSU is 9-3

What were you expecting?

I would cream if the Cotton took us and we played Oklahoma St. In order for this to happen the Cap 1 or Outback would have to take Missouri, correct?

Then there is South Carolina. Would the Cotton Bowl prefer 10-2 South Carolina or 9-3 LSU. Is this the scenario to the Cotton Bowl?

If the SEC can break order and have A&M go ahead of us why can't the BIG 10 do the same. I mean frick they should just put UM vs LSU in the Outback Bowl and send A&M and Iowa to the Gator bowl where they belong. I'm tired of us getting fricked over in the bowl process. frick the SEC I hope they all lose their bowl games.

I'd much rather see LSU and Michigan play, as opposed to Iowa or Minn. I could give 2 shits what bowl it's in. If we ain't in a BCS bowl, who cares? They get the same amt of $$ wether they play in the Outback, Gator, or Independence.

Yeah, in 2007 we were headed to the national championship, not being shifted around lower-tier bowls...

People only care about like 2 bowl games every year anyway. Championship and whatever BCS matchup is good.

Wasnt expecting much more than that with the schedule honestly. Like I said, teams fan bases will be excited for matchup....otherwise thats about it. This is the forgotten bowl on New Years Day. I always forget this bowl is on. Usually bc I dont give a frick about the teams and the bowl itself is bland.

You make a good point about coordinating bowl Matchup's. Why is it always the SEC that has to adjust to make the games more interesting? I don't see a whole lot of effort by the Big 10 to move teams around.

Maybe not even that. It'll probably be better this year than last year though, if it really does end up being LSU vs. Michigan.

Michigan does not want to get stuck in that game for the second year in a row. How would you feel if LSU got stuck in the Chick Fil'A Bowl just so ESPN could get the matchup it wanted?
