The problem in all of this is, the bowl committees don't always stick to the proper slotting/seeding. Carolina is always loved because if thenumbers they bring. Remember those outback bowls that LSU got screwed out of by South Carolina? It's all about travel, ticket sales. We just need to win out and maintain the highest BCS ranking we can. If bama beats UGA, fsu beats fla, we should end up as the 2nd bcs team from the SEC.

Certainly, nothing is "set in stone" but IMO LSU is going to either Rose/Fiesta/Sugar if Florida State beats Florida and LSU wins out (I still think it wouldn't hurt for Bama to beat UGA, but that might not be absolutely necessary as I stated in my OP).

Both teams were undefeated going into the SECT.
No one this year will be, and when a team in the SECT with a loss loses again, they usually don't get an at large.

LSU had a ton of people in PHX in 05 under crazy circumstances. I've never been to a bowl as an actually adult for various reasons, but I'd consider going to the Fiesta. It's P&G glasses, but they'd be crazy to not pick LSU.
