I could see us implementing a system whereby Harris is the "Manning" (yes, I know Harris is fast too) and Jennings is the "Vick", so to speak, a la Flynn/RP, but perhaps with Jennings playing a bigger role than RP did in 2007. They both are "pass-first" with speed and athleticism from what I understand, but Jennings' size lends itself to being a more durable running QB at this juncture

Harris is faster and quicker. Yet he's the "Manning"?

In that case, just play him and let him get in rhythm. We dont need a durable running qb. We have buga nation.

How many years since he arrived has he said the same thing.
Last seasom, two weeks prior to the game, it was obvious that Mett was the man.
Lets see what he says after the game.

Well since I witnessed a two-headed QB monster at MSU last year give us all we could handle, the saying is bogus imo.

It's just one of those chards of wisdom seen on the internet with no factual basis.

Been expecting that since Spring Practice...

He also weighs, what, 40(?) lbs. less than Jennings? And do we know for certain that he is significantly faster and/or quicker? Honest question. If we're going to install a 2QB system with one being the "running" QB, I'm going with Jennings every time. Plus, there are indications that Harris is a better "pure passer". I'm inclined to think they're both highly versatile and could be effective in a 2QB system, if that's what we decide to go with. Could end up being a moot point.

I think you just have latent fear of another JJ/JL scenario when two mediocre (at best) QBs were being led by an inept QB coach/Offensive coordinator for the first 3 years of their career.

Wait a minute. Does everyone not remember that ol Les aint too reliable on the who is playing QB information dissemination.

Don't be a sucker for another whole season. He will have a starter and he will ride him till he is thrown..no matter what he says. This is the guy that put Lee in the game to kneel on it, after saying that he would have a pretty big part of the gameplan(or something like that).

I like Les, but put ZERO stake in what he says regarding game plan or personnel.

No one will admit they were both just serviceable QBs

What I would like to see is a complete back swap at the half. First half is Jennings, Magee and Hilliard. 2nd half is Harris, Fournette and Williams.

We'll that would be pretty stupid, considering Harris is a much better runner.
