Both Lee and Jefferson in a play vs. Bama?

Will we see a play (or two) with Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson at the same time against Bama?
Either Lee or Jefferson under the center with variety play options, depending on how Bama defense lined up. Should be interesting...

Honestly this has been posted over 10 times in the last 2 days.
But no, I don't think they will.

I absolutely believe we will see this but it will have a little more "Les magic" to it than just having two efficient passers to worry about.

Les hinted at it in his presser yesterday....unprompted.
quote:
On benefit of the experience in LSU's quarterbacks...
"Every game that you line up you look at what you think are your strengths as a team. I think certainly we have spots where we can lean on to have success. I think that is the game plan and how you call plays. It is specific to your guys. The experience at quarterback will give us certain advantages in running our offense and doing the things we want to do. You only get to play one quarterback at a time. If you can come up with that formation where you can play two, I might consider it."

But why though?
Let me ask you this: How do you scheme against a formation that includes one true pocket passer and multiple known pass/run threats all of whom also have the ability to throw the ball? Just show ONCE that you are willing to do it and the D has to adjust. THAT will test the almighty D god's ability to play the chess match.
ETA: I meant to give you the link: Lunch With Les transcript

Why do you people insist on thinking that this game will just be chock full of trick plays? You all play Play Station too much.

If you want a multi-QB play, why not put JJ, Ware, Magee and Shepard on the field at the same time.
Who will throw the ball then?

What we are seeing is Lee and Jordan maturing into great playin college senior, veteran QB's that have grown into solid guys. If something happens to Lee, Jefferson goes in and the offense continues to roll, both QB's took their lumps of SEC football abuse early on and have now grown into QB's that can lead a team to a MNC. Bama is in the way of that and will be dealt with like mature, savvy QB's will do, in this case being Lee and Jeff.
Geaux, Tigers!!

not sure what you really get out of this. You are taking either a receiver or a RB out of the picture with the alignment. It's not like Jefferson is going to be a better running/receiving option than a true WR/RB. I guess you could work some type of double pass out of it, but the minute Bama sees the alignment they should have sense enough to be ready for that.
I think it would be more likely that you see us pass out of a formation that doesn't include either Jefferson or Lee.

Flea flicker, jefferson fakes a QB draw with Lee lined up at RB. Jefferson runs to steps forward, stops, flicks it back to Lee, Lee hits Randle for a 56 yd TD.
No, those two will not be on the field at the same time.

Lee and Jefferson will both be on the field when Wing is running the Wildcat. I told y'all that yesterday.
