Wait what?? So name those games where our loses shouldn't have been close and wins that we shouldn't have won? Please do
Bama in OT 2014. Beat Ole Miss that same year when we had no business doing that. Les clearly has faults, but when you can't give him any credit for things that he did well, it makes it impossible to take anything you say seriously.

News flash les jr... your dad is intentionally trying to get fired. We all know it. No one in their right minds could make some of the decisions he's made over the past few years and think that they'd work. He's trying to get fired.
Alleva should stuff him into a closet for the remainder of his contract and make it a living hell for him.

The least you could do while trolling is look up the names and spell them correctly.
"Denardo" has never coached at LSU.

I really feel sad for most on this thread, LSU is not a Bama , Notre Dame, USC type of power. LSU has been put in the national spotlight because of Les Miles, he has raised the bar for himself. LSU finally has national potential after going 50 years without it. Grow up and realize that without Les getting the great players LSU is just another average SEC team like arky and miss st and ole miss.
You're a troll or just a attention grabbing idiot. Les Miles did not make LSU anything LSU made him. LSU has been a brand for longer than any of the mediocre programs you just mentioned and with the right coach will once again be in it's rightful place beating the sorry arse gumps.

Les has given so much to LSU, one of three national championships in LSU history. And even played for another one with a perfect 13-0 season. My message to BOOGER, Les owes LSU nothing. He is a class act, and have kept LSU in the national spotlight more than any coach in LSU history.
You do realize we pay the man $5 million a year, right? His landmark seasons were 9 and 5 years ago respectively. You think you're employer wouldn't have a problem with your job performance if you had under performed for over 4 years? "But, but...look what I did back in 2007....."
Come on, man.

His inability to produce on the field an offense that is worth watching is the biggest concern of lsu fans. We have had no major problems with recruiting violations, have recruited great, but if he can not keep up with the times to keep lsu in contention he needs to go. People point out over the last 3 years we have more nfl players than anybody yet we haven't even been in contention for the college playoff system. The offense has to change drastically it's not small changes that need to take place and it's not only the qb fault or les miles fault but heads have to start rolling.

Look back at LSU football history, your statement is simply not true.

Wrong Number 16 all time with stretches of mediocrity just as any team on that lists has experienced. Which if you pull out the Ivy league schools who IMO shouldn't even be there that's right outside of the top 10. Go troll somewhere else you are proving you don't actually know shite, and are a fan of some other team.

LSU is ranked 4th is Sec titles with 11, Auburn and Ole miss are among us. That's not a football power.
Posted on 9/16/16 at 6:06 pm to speckhead
We have 2 national titles in the last 15 years not 3. Saban if anyone deserves a ton of credit. He won 2 SEC titles in 5 years and recruited the 2007 squad. Les won 2 in 12. Les has kept us relevant but is beginning to slide and if you hold onto a coach that's sliding then it'll take a while to get back up. Ole miss has 6 less SEC titles. We are ahead of Florida who also has 3 national titles. I'm pretty sure you're just trolling but idk.
Also, spell coaches names right. You're either 12 years old or female.

Booger McFarland on Les Miles
The games we should win by 21 we win by 3 or lose by 21 because of Miles conservative O philosophy of be good on D & ST and try to win it in the 4th or sit on a lead.

But what could they do at the QB position? Since LM has been there the QB development has not progressed. ZM is probably the best QB and he was a transfer in.
quote:
Offensive Play Calling and the Lack of Development on the O and at the QB position. The games we should win by 21 we win by 7.The concern is you showed up in ALA thinking you were going to run it down the best front 7 in America’s throat. When that didn’t work what was Plan B. In my opinion they didn’t have a Plan B (and haven’t ever). So they lose to the best team in America and come back home. Sat night, DV where dreams come to die. ARK comes in, and there is no way you can tell me or any other analyst that ARK is more talented than LSU. So LSU gets rushed for another 300 yds. The D in question again by the hire of KS w Chief gone and the O looked shaky.
But it is the evolution of the O that has me and the faithful concerned. Any objective fan is concerned. Go back to 2011 when LSU beat ALA 9-6 in the GOTC. LSU came in with a little wrinkle called the dive option. Fast forward to the NC and LM shows up with the same game plan.
Since that game LSU’s O has been going downhill. The O development has not been there and we get tired as analysts watching so much talent trying to play in a phone booth. Let the thoroughbreds runs, let them out, open the O up.
Why do you recruit 4 and 5 star receivers if you are not going to throw the football? And why since LM has been there has there been no QB development?
OM is up next and LSU and OM both lost to ARK. This is gut check game on the road and if LSU loses again by double digits it is going to be tough on LM.
Since 2011 the trend of wins in the SEC has gone down (8-0, 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, 5-3). If you lose to OM you are 4-3 it really doesn’t matter what else you do. If they lose by 3 that is one thing but if the lose by 21 then it is time to make a move because we have seen it over and over.
In BR you hear LM is a great coach who will get you 8, 9, 10 wins, but you have 12, 13 win talent. You are as talented as ALA, OSU so I am not afraid of risking the 8, 9, 10 wins if I can get the 11, 12, 13 wins.
People are talking about the 15 million buyout but money is not the issue, and I don’t want LM to lose his job. What I would love for him to do is open the offense up, but how many times can we watch the same antiquated O do the same things over and over? And I don’t think he is capable of change. Les is a Big 10 guy who wants to run the ball and with LF he should run but at some point you have to open the offense up. This is not just me but all of LA who have watched the lack of O development. 90% of the people say the same thing “What is wrong with the O? Why can’t we get a QB, but it is a Philosophy”. Sometimes you have to understand what is holding you back and know when to change. Saban recognized he had the same problem LSU has now a couple of yrs ago. What did he do? Probably against every bone in his body he hired Kiffin to change the O because he knew his weakness. He brought in someone smarter on O than he could ever be and he gave ALA the threat of an explosive O. Right now LSU does not have that threat. So as great as LF is, and I think he is the best back in America, but when you are running against stacked boxes there is nothing he can do as you saw against ALA and ARK. It is tough for him to get free when you are not spread and making the D account for everyone else. [/b[b]]BH has done a fine job developing but when you go back to the ALA, ARK games they had 25 3rd downs, 17 were 8+, 12 were 10+. It is tough for Montana to complete 3rd and 10+. So you are putting Harris in adverse situations and that slows his development and the O development. Overall you could sum LSU up in one sentence: The lack of O progression over Miles tenure has been saddening. And the whole country got to see what happened at ALA and after the 1st qtr everybody in America knew you could not run the football against that defense. But Les kept trying.
After A&M:
quote:
He has not and would not change a thing if he had the opportunity to replay any game over again. He cannot evolve. It was the wrong thing to retain him, but I will support him, help him recruit. He needs an Offensive-minded OC and to hire a top QB coach for Harris.

You are every bit of the walking and talking stenotype of the Les Miles fan that I have come to truly hate. it's creepy cult like fans like you that enabled JoePa to run shite at Penn State like he owned the damn school himself.
I will enjoy your melt when Les finally leaves LSU.
