Ok Mr facts. Here is some trivia for you. Which current college football coach has had the most NFL talent pass through his hands with only mediocre results?

Yeah yeah we know. Miles is to blame for everything bad at LSU since 2005. Your "mediocrity" mantra has been old since your daddy started yapping it back in 05. Coach Miles is the best to ever walk the sidelines at LSU and nothing you or any other negaturds say is going to change that fact. Got it,boy?

Mettenberger was extremely productive for us.

no. I would take the word extremely out of that statement and then would agree. Mett was our QB 2 years and pretty well stunk his first year. his feet were encased in concrete and hardly ever picked up a first down that way. his accuracy was marginal; he made a living off of OBJ and Landry going up for long balls and grabbing them. his "great year", the one everyone hails didn't help us win shite. sure, our D cost us the Georgia game but we still couldn't get over the SEC west hurdle. believe me, I would have loved to have him last year, I just don't think he was THAT great.

This will be the second time in the last seven seasons that we have a quarterback coming back with experience.

Wrong... This is the 4th time in 7 seasons (counting 2016).

2010, 2011, 2013, AND 2016.

After 7 of 8 years of weak QB play (with 5 different QBs) I have a hard time saying LSU's question mark is QB

We had good qb play in 2006,2007,2009,2011,and 2013.

aybe it's just me, but when I see a long term problem where 6 different people are blamed and there is only 1 constant throughout that time, I tend to think the problem might be with the 1 constant rather than the 5 changing variables

It is just you. Flynn played well in 2007. JJ played well in 2009. JLee/JJ combo of 2011 played well. Mett im 2013 played well.

2014 and 2015 we were breaking in new qbs that had very little starting experience.
You do realize that the red shirt qbs that play well are the outliers, right?

Mediocre?
So the best tenure in lsu history is mediocre?
The highest win percentage in lsu history is mediocre?
Miles has more top 20,top 15,top 10,and top 5 finishes tban anyone in lsu history.
Miles has the 7th best win %in sec history.
Miles has the #1 ooc win % in sec history.
Since his hire no program has beaten more ranked teams.
No program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks.

You call that mediocre?

His 2013 season is the 2nd best season in lsu history.

You basically just said "Oh he mishandled the situation if you get over Ryan, Zach Lee and Gunner Kiel"

Two of Three of those would have started for more than two years at least.

Do you think Z Lee would have been better than Mett because if Lee stats we don't have Mett. That's a push at best. Gunner Keil would have played behind Mett/Lee and if he was still here, would we have signed Harrus or Rettig? Prob not both, so that's a wash too. Every QB that has transferred or played has been highly rated. Jennings was an elite 11 iirc. I mean it's very clear we have a problem developing QBs. Blaming luck is just a weak argument at this point. I'll concede Perrilloux for the 2008 and 2009 seasons but there's no excuse for our QB play since.

Why, are they going to play defense when the other is on Offense? This is the same bullshite they used to give that half tard RB from Alabama the Heisman and disqualify LF, because " head to head," number 2 out rushed LF.

Those jackwipes don't care what the facts are. Only what they THINK are facts. You know the kind they get from playing madden football every day. Don't you know that makes them experts on college football

Thats not what you said. Nose to Nose sounds different than "be exciting."

Bo Scarbrough will be a Heisman favorite in 2017. If you haven't seen him, he's...pretty big.
