Nose to nose is a figure of speech. They're on teams that would be facing off against one another. You knew what I meant so there's no need to be a jackass and parse words.

whats the most impressive achievement of the last 4 seasons?

Having the 2nd most wins in the sec in the last 5 years. Finishing top 20 4 of the last 5 years. Top 15 3 of the last 5 years. Do i need to explain what mediocrity is?

It's great to hear Miles is "developing" a passing game. After only 11 years. There's hope.

Our passing game in 2006,2007,2009,2011,and 2013 were all good to great but dont let facts get in the way of you posting ignorant shits.

Do I need to explain what reading comprehension is?

which, even by Miles' own standards, is not good enough. So if you have a problem with the bar that has been set, take it up with the man you are so passionately defending.

EDIT: so you do not think I am making this up

"“I want to make it very clear that Les Miles is our football coach and will continue to be our football coach. We are committed together to working together and competing at the highest level. And I’m very pleased that Coach Miles is our coach. We’re going to go forward and win championships here at LSU.”...

“I agree with Joe,” Miles said and later added that he would consider staff changes. “This team should be competing for championships. It’s not enough to win occasionally. We should win all the time.”"

that doesn't sound like someone who is content with top 15 and top 20 finishes, so why should the fans expect anything different?

They all know what mediocrity is. They see it every time they stand in front of a mirror to put on clothes.

We competed for a title last year. We basicallyhad a 10 win season while playing in the hardest division in cfb.

I love how you do nothing to make lsu football a better product yet get on here talking about what level of success you'll accept.

Stating facts about miles' tenure isnt defending. Its called reality.

Im sorry youre too stupid to realize win all the time is coach speak. Even the best coach in cfb loses to an inferior team every year.

At no time did miles say our last 4 years were mediocre or that lsu is above top 15 finishes.

I think LSU's question mark is Les and whether he is willing to trust and allow and his QB to be a playmaker rather than just a guy who is out there "not frick up."
You put cart before horse.
Any competent staff would expect QB to do better on the the plays given before asking him to throw more.
Trust is earned, and likewise Playmaker is an earned moniker for consistent successful execution, not something you're "allowed".

Maybe it's just me, but when I see a long term problem where 6 different people are blamed and there is only 1 constant throughout that time, I tend to think the problem might be with the 1 constant rather than the 5 changing variables
Maybe it's just me, but I've never once entertained the idea Miles is a QB coach.
He is responsible for it as is case with defense, ST etc, but far as I know the closest he's gotten to direct involvement with passing is Dallas TE coach.

Our passing game sucked once Miles used the first sign of adversity to put his quarterback "with feet" back in.

Meaning you'd rather lose GOTC than play "feet"?
LSU actually had the best single game RAT, YPG, and 3 game stretch of total O under "feet", fyi.

What? JJ had a good passer rating in 2011 (higher than flynn in 07) and our offensive production went up once JJ became the starter.i believe LEE had earned the right to remian the starter but this bullshite myth that our offemse sucked once JJ came back isnt backed up by facts.

Apparently the national sports media is just as ignorant as I am because they've ALL wondered WHEN LSU will get a passing game.

The national media was not talking about our bad passing in 2006,2007,2009,2011, or 2013.

1) "we"

2) LSU did not compete for a title. At 5-3 it did not even compete for its own division.
