Booger McFarland on Finebaum

I know, I know. I'm not a Finebaum fan, but Booger nailed it on TV just now. Basically saying the same thing as 90% of the fanbase. Thinks if we get blown out at Ole Miss, a change needs to be made. He said that the buyout isn't an issue and that while Les is a good coach and will give you 8,9,10 win seasons, LSU has the talent to win 11,12 & 13 games. He also said, Les has got to open up the offense and let his talent shine.

I like Booger, but I would have gone on TV and said that each of the last 7 years for a fraction of what they are paying him.

After this year there will only be 3 seasons he didn't win atleast 10 games.
Plus if(when) we go 10-2 we'll really be *11-2
Yeah fire Miles fam.

I just watched it too. He said what I think a lot of people feel. He didn't talk shite on Les. He just asked the questions of why he won't adjust like Saban did hiring Kiffin.
You could tell he cares

He also had a pretty good point about the Warriors firing Mark Jackson.

Yeah, he didn't bash Miles and even said he would like Miles to stay, if he can make the needed changes on offense. I think most can agree with this, but most also believe Les is incapable of change. My personal opinion is he should get next year to see what he can do and what he changes. He's earned that much.

So getting our arse beat by two SEC west teams and finishing 3rd or 4th in the west every year is acceptable as long as we pad our wins against the Western Kentucky's and Eastern Michigan's of the world?

You could hear his frustration when he talked about beating a team by 5 points that you should blowout by 21.
He took deep breaths and you could tell he was thinking hard about what he would say.
It was the whole "it's not losing, but how we lose" type of thing. No adjustments being made when needed. He said LF is the best back in the country but the offense "plays in a phone booth."
He said Les should open the playbook and "let the thoroughbreds run."
They're still talking about it

quote:true, the Warriors won 50+, but just being pretty good wasn't good enough so they made a switch. All the talking heads thought it was a mistake and now they are the best in the league.

I didn't say that and neither did he. And no I don't think what you say is right either.
Finishing 3rd or 4th, to me, isn't acceptable but it does happen in the SEC. WKU and Eastern Michigan still being in the game after halftime is sad.

Robert Smith just said LSU and Ole Miss way over rated and Arky really not that good either
