Ogeron had a better record with the same exact team Les had this year. These Les worshipers are gonna jump his arse if he doesn't win 11 or 12 games his first year. Even though it's been a long time since Miles has done exactly that.

Booger has always been negative on Les. He just doesn't like the man.
With good reason the last few years. Or maybe, like a lot of us, he simply sees Les as a good recruiter and great guy, but a terrible sideline coach. There's nothing wrong with stating this and I dont see how you could construe that as "shitting" on Miles.....although Rick, Balls, Earl, and others would say otherwise.

No, LSU was also a completely different program then. LSU continues to recruit top 10 talent now, we have as much talent as anyone in the nation. To expect less just because of a coach (who coached 8 games) is foolish. O has been around the program a year now, he isn't coming from another school.
He preached continuity when hired and I'm holding him to the standard and as people have said we have the two highest paid coordinators in the nation. What will be the excuse when one bolts?
I guess we will just make up a new reason and list of excuses.
Oh and I love the generalization, it is cute

You're right....and now we will get to see that talent fully utilized instead of thwarted and stymied by some antiquated offensive philosophy they have been forced to embrace over the last several years.

are you really looking to blame someone if one of these coordinators gets a better offer? If they get a better offer that will, in all likelihood, mean they were very successful here and helped us win a shite ton of games.

Did u expect Miles to win 10 games his first year? Because I dont believe you if you say yes most certainly did.
it wasn't that far fetched.
i mean we were a hail mary away from winning 10 the previous season. and win 13 the year before that.
and at the time Miles was hired, we had no idea Katrina was gonna wreck the fall like she did.

Maybe....but Miles was jumping from a Yugo at OSU to a Ferrari at LSU. I dont remember the scrutiny or pressure that O is facing now to win big and fast.
The truth is people are pissed that Sir Les got shite-canned and they want O to fail so that they can say "I told you so!"

it sure does. I don't understand why people just want to hear what they want to hear; it's like they are afraid to consider other peoples opinions and give them honest thought. booger tells it like he sees it and we should listen. as an LSU fan, he was tired of seeing us lose to bama every year and he was tired of the LSU coaching staff doing such a poor job on offense. and he was right.

LSU fans are setting up the next line of excuses...
O's first year
We are young
Then next year
The offense has to replace a lot
The defense has to replace Standard
Give them time
Etc... Etc... Etc... #NextYearU

I think it hurts people to actually give Les credit for anything. It is easier to tear him down because of the success at Alabama. I believe Bama envy is the root cause of the hate.

Well you can't even do that correctly. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconrotflmao.gif)

I have given credit to Les in the past for taking the program to a new level during the first half of his tenure but he successfully shite away a lot of the good will he amassed during that run over the last few years with his obtuse and defiant offensive philosophy. Hes the one that has effectively soiled his legacy...not the fans.

Something like a 28-21 record. I mean he put them on the map but lets not pretend they were gangbusters or anything with him at the helm. Gundy has done a MUCH better job of winning games there than Miles ever did and hes done it with a much more wide-open philosophy.

Lol les hasn't come close to the success gundys had at OSU. You're priceless entertainment. Plz continue.

Nothing really stays the same from year to year, but O fixed a few issues that were obviously a problem with Les. But he did it with the team/staff that Les built. O being able to maintain that over time is the big question mark. He failed miserably at his first attempt to manage his own program.

There is nothing wrong with his offensively philopshy, Alabama and other schools still run a pro-style system. Kitten did open it up for them and implement more of the spread but I would say they were still traditionally pro-style. When LSU had the offense (Nett) the defense was not up to par and now it is the opposite.
I agree that it was time for Les to go as I said if he started poorly or failed to win 10 he needed to be fired. I don't agree with the way it was handled. The biggest thing is Saban does not coach the offensive side of the ball so he allows the coordinators to work, however, his hands are all over the defense. Miles did and he left the D alone and had hands in the offense. His offense could work but he needed a QB to make plays. That is the responsibility of the OC/QB coach to develop him, it didn't happen. And before you say it, Les had no problems making changes on the staff. He moved on from coaches when they were performed poorly.
If your going to use record that is lazy. Considering what Les inherited at Oklahoma State was worse than what Dinardo took over in the 90's. He built them and made them relevant, he started winning against OU and getting kids to notice Oklahoma State. He did a lot to pave the way for Gundy.

Saban didn't have the success Miles did at LSU? Your point?

Lmfao lmfao lmfao. Oh yes the irony the double standards it's as sweet as candy.

Lmfao Saban didn't have the success miles did? Lmfao
Sec titles Saban 2 miles 2
Nattys Saban 1 Miles 1
Only difference is Saban did it in half of the time starting from scratch and Les inherited a top 5 program..

I agree and said as much....but Gundy took them to 10-win seasons, something Miles never did.
