Interesting that Bolden transfers here and then is third string. He has limited eligibility, and you would think that he would have been promised playing time.

Think I read where he just wanted to go to a team that would compete for a championship.

He said early on that he came here to be on a team that has a chance to win it all. Why is it so hard to believe Rivers would've beat him out? Rivers has been in the system for a year and Bolden hasn't.

He was a free spot, we lost Liggins to academics. It was a gamble with the houses money, on adding depth.

If that is so funny, you have to question why our coaches would bring in a qb with limited eligibility who isnt better than the second string guy.

They were giving the guy a chance to get out of that terrible situation. Kragthorpe came here too, you think he was promised time? And they didn't bring him in, he chose to come here.

Rivers looks like a qb, not an imposter.
He does not look out of place.
He has made vast improvements physically and knows the playbook.
Bolden needs to learn the system, but he has great physical gifts and is a smart kid.

Also do you think mett was truly beat out last year or do you think he needed to learn the system and his surroundings.

The only answer i have been given in this thread is that makes sense is that he wanted to go to ateam that might win a championship, regardless of riding the pine.

Yall think along with QB depth, they wanted a running QB on the scout team?

I thought Rivers looked as confident and in control as Mett. We have a good backup QB if needed.

Did everyone see the excitement and enthusiasm Bolden had on the sidelines? He was jumping up and down and hi-fiveing. Lots of energy. Shepard is like that too. I'm glad we got Bolden. He did start a game and played a little early last season. I have seen injuries hurt good teams around the country before. I'm glad we got him. One injury and the flu or a funeral and he plays.

He's only been here for a month. Unless he's some kind of savant, he can't possibly know all the checks and plays yet. That being said, Rivers may actually be a better QB. The coaches won't know what they have in Bolden til mid-season at the earliest.
