I have no problem with folks taking shots at SFP's backhanded compliment, but I would not underestimate how talented Oliver Miller was. I think he was something like 6'10", very strong and had a super-soft touch. Yes, he battled weight problems, but Miller could play.

And he couldn't carry Glenn Davis's jockstrap.

No, quite frankly, he's not.

He'll never make an All-Star team. He fits his niche very nicely in a pick and roll system, but he's still a defensive liability and will

Yea yea, sure sonnyboy. What part of the NBA are you affiliated with? Scouting? Team coaching staff? When you have the credentials then you can make talent judgements that will have credibility. Until then you are a sfp clown. Meaning your opinion means zero.

My favorite part of the video is the younger guy saying that last year Paul Pierce might have given the ball up to Big Baby for the last shot. But two years ago, he said absolutely not, Big Baby wouldn't have even been on the court.

That's correct sir. Big Baby would not have been on the court two years ago. Actually, he wasn't even on the team.

In all seriousness, who is saying he could be considered among the best in the NBA in a few years?

Just from Wiki but taking it as true:

Miller was known as a talented center with good passing skills, at his peak (1995-96) averaging 12.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.4 steals per game.

That is playing some ball. Thus far, Davis' best year is this season and he averaged 7 and 4. Davis may well be better than Miller - hell, I'm a Tiger fan so I sure hope he is - but to say Miller couldn't carry his jock is just over the top.

SFP calling Davis fat is like me saying Will Smith has big ears.

Talking heads on ESPN saying that. Said people like Jerry West, Ainge, and others were saying Davis could be a great one. On sports center one morning during the Chicago series.

Man, you are one bizarre, negative dude. That's like saying someone has grown to mask his shortness. Or aged to mask his youth.

not at all

he's not tall for a 4/5 and he's not explosive at all. his post game is not going to be a big option on most nights

to compensate, he developed an outside game

I don't see anything out of line with this statement. I think you guys are overeacting in this case.
