You sure it's not the CFL draft?

As he should with the knee injuries he's had. Everyone who's left outside of trai turner and freak by all means has plenty of reasons to leave. I hope Collins comes back though because another lt year could move him into first round territory.

Lets also keep in mind he has been at LSU for 4 years. Most kids are done with college after 4 years. Why should football players be any different. Just because they have a year of eligibility left does not mean they should stay. Time to go out into the real world and make something of yourself.

That knee is gonna come around. Once he gets that burst back he will easily make a roster. He is also a great special team player and that helps tons toward making rosters. Best of luck to him.

I was wondering when he would announce. I really thought he could be really good in 2012. That injury really seemed to affect him this year.
Perhaps I am wrong, but it seems like he would have a shot to salvage his chances of getting drafted if he came back.
If he knows he won't have a successful pro career regardless, then I guess why not go ahead and try to make a practice squad now.

Exactly. It would just put another year of wear and tear on him without getting paid. He wouldn't have increased his draft stock much even had he returned this year.

No one is saying he's an early exit or anything....just posting what I saw. I wish him the best of luck !

If RIchard Murphy can hang around, I like Blue's chances.

You clearly didn't watch the first half of last season.

One thing Blue has going for him is his special teams coverage ability. I believe he had more tackles than some of the part-time defensive players. Maybe he can stick on an NFL team as 3rd-4th RB and cover kicks.
Good luck.
ETA: Blue had 14 tackles in 2011 and 6 in 2013 just playing special teams.
