A HUGE problem with SEC officials is where they mark they ball. They make up crap every game. I'm sure if someone had the time and enough camera footage, they could prove there are some dirty refs in the SEC.

It's funny how many questionable calls are made yet many blatantly obvious calls are ignored.

The illegal block caused the bad punt coverage. Why is that hard to understand?

He definitely got shoved in the back. If you can't see that, you're more blind than the refs. The pi in the end zone was blatant as well.

Fans only report bad calls when their team loses

Why don't fans bitch to SEC in Birmingham, Ala when their team wins but have to bust nuts to overcome fricking bad officiating?

You can call and bitch to Steve Shaw-Coordinator of football officials at 205-458-3000 or better yet ask to speak to SEC Commish, Greg Stankey- and I not misspelling his name folks

A key point missed here. The officials job is not to make a determination of the probability of his call affecting the outcome of a play...it is in fact to make the call when a rules infraction occurs. So all the BS about ranters arguing about its affect on the play is frivolous.

Agreed. The flag itself nullifies the play whether or not he would've actually been tackled by Jones. That's the point.

And yes, both calls in the OP and the BH out of bounds missed call were just fricking ridiculous.

I've seen much less called all the time. We lost to UA one year on a far smaller infraction on a screen pass. This one is out in front of God and everybody.

That's the one that is usually watched the most because the gunner is where the ball is coming down. It was a clear miss in my book

I believe you are right because all official eyes are on punt receiver and that is exactly where the push occurred but the question is why was it missed? Intentional? And for what ultimate purpose?
