First off, Bleacher Report. Secondly, no, Russell Shepard never had an opportunity to play QB.

What fault do you find with the article? He is absolutely correct in my opinion. LSU does not have a shut down defense that can allow the team to win 9-6 games. Miles is not a good enough coach to win anything in the SEC. Now, if that is OK with Alleva and Co., then so be it.

Every DC in the world knows what LSU will do. He had better get some linemen who can actually play in the SEC. Better yet, he should just resign.

If we've learned anything with Miles it is that he will not change. He is as stubborn as the proverbial mule. We can only hope he will do the honorable thing for the program that he claims he loves and that is to resign at the end of the season.

Even though it is Bleacher, it is on the money.

Not only do DC's know what to do, but OC's as well now. We can't contain the edge (or apparently have anyone close on most plays) and they will continue to exploit it. I could call 3/4's of the hogs offensive plays last night and I suck at predictions.

A lot of this is due to lack of good players. Just a fact. That also is on CLM. The line play is atrocious.
