Bama and LSU were never "rock bottom" programs. Just another shitty opinion from the king of shitty football opinions.

But, after traveling around the country and seeing other stadiums, we need some serious maintenance. I'm not sure how it will happen, but it needs to be done. My wife waited 30 minutes in line for the bathroom to change my daughter. There are no changing tables for diapers/childcare.
At least it has a lot more seating after the renovations...
Point is well taken. It needs a serious overhaul, but how will that ever happen? Maybe they should take the added revenue from the increased capacity and put that toward needed improvements/amenities. It doesn't have to be this way...at all. It needs to be much less expensive, but that will never happen.

You blame Miles for everything, but I bet you lap up Sean Payton's 7-9 balls every Sunday. Have your mom make you another hot pocket and play with your zombie toys
Well that isn't true at all for Zombie
Difference though is that:
1) Sean Payton built the Saints
2) Both are offensive coaches, yet 1 has a great offense every year, while the other's offense was pathetic.

LSU was 3-8 (1-7 in SEC) in 1999
Bama was 6-7 (2-6 in SEC) in 2006
That's pretty shitty, especially LSU
LSU went 8-4 (5-3 in SEC) in 2000
Bama went 7-6 (4-4 in SEC) in 2007

Saban came in after a 3-8 season with losses to Kentucky and unranked Houston. Last place in the SEC with a 1-7 record. 7-4 the year before with only 2 SEC wins.
We may not have been a "rock bottom" school by national standards, but we were from an SEC perspective.

Of course now have Saban play ULM or UAB and lets see what happens...
LSU lost to a 5 loss UF team in 2003, at home, while failing to cross the 50 except for 1 drive (which ended in a fumble).
In 2004, we beat Troy 24-20 after scoring with 2:30 left in the game to take the lead
In 2009 when Bama won the NC, 7-6 Tenn came to town and Bama won off a blocked field goal. They won 12-10.

Very unfortunate for them
Les has the second most wins in a 120+ year history. No other coaches were as successful as him. This isn't on Les Miles.

Just a huge difference between pre-2012 Les, and post-2012 Les

This board wanted Miles gone so bad...now they can't seem to shut the frick up about him

It is definitely true for me who watched the games on TV.

LSU lost 1 home game last year. You can't sit here and say fans left because the team was shitty when they beat Florida and Auburn at home. people don't stay for those games.

Nah. Plenty of blame to go to Les on the football end of things, but honestly, people leaving early is more of a function of today's society and technology and how ridiculously longs games are. People don't have the attention spans they used to, watching a game on TV in the comfort of your own home is in many ways better when it isn't a premier game, and the games are so damn long.
So, if you leave with 12:00 left in the he third quarter, how much of the game do you get to see at home?
That is such a non thought out excuse. Everyone knows it's more comfortable to watch a game at home on the couch. Why you would jeopardize that awesomeness by going to Tiger Stadium for 2 1/2 quarters, walk back to the car, pack up the car, drive in traffic to get home, then unpack the car, only to miss the game that is so awesome to watch on your couch, is jus amazing to me.

This is the problem. With EVERY game on TV now and the fricking games going over 4 hours, people dont wanna stay.

When Dinardo had his two good years, during the Saban years and the early part of Miles's years the stadium would remain packed until the end of the game. If people left early, they were leaving mid to late 4th quarter..
Now, you can notice that people are leaving after halftime, but to some degree I think the lack of internet access contributes to that, but I do think people have become molded to leave early because of how frustrating and boring games have been for several years. It became even more noticeable after the Mettenberger years.

All I see is a lot of excuses by shitty fans wanting to beat a little traffic

But that's my point, LSU was 6-0 with the Heisman front runner last season and there wasn't 90k+ people left in the stadium at the end of the games. Yeah the wheels fell off, but at that point it hadn't.
