In fairness to Rick and BeeFense, they're not the ones starting 18 page threads about Les Miles, 3 weeks after he was fired.
But, THEY are the ones who ran around saying they were the REAL LSU fans.
Yet, since Miles has departed, even though there are now many non-Miles threads, the ONLY ones they are participating in are still the arguments of 4 weeks ago.
VERY telling

Just don't understand folks who want to treat the last 11 years like they were the early nineties.
Lets say that 100% of Miles' success was due to Saban being his predecessor and Louisiana being one of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. Lets agree that Miles was a mediocre coach who landed in the right place at the right time. Even if you take all that as fact, it doesn't change the fact that the last 11 years were more successful than the 11 years before, including Saban's tenure. I'm not defending Miles. I just think it's crazy that people are acting like we just suffered through the most brutal stretch of years in the program's history; we didn't.
It was time for a change. I don't think Miles was the man for the job anymore. But anyone who thinks we just suffered through 11 years of misery is proving every idiot on the SEC Rant that likes to say we think football was invented in 2000 100% right.

But, I ain't getting in to it.
I'm just laughing at the two idiots who ran around calling themselves REAL LSU fans and now, they STILL only talk about Miles on the board.

I think he did have something to do with it but he's gone now blaming him for anything is just counterproductive. We need to get rid of piped in music fireworks and maybe go old school we have the jumbo trons but that's where the modern stuff needs to stop.

Gotta keep this thread alive - it is absolute!!!
can’t wait to see this team throw the ball around, blow teams out early, then send in the back-ups to throw the ball around again and keep the blow-out going - that will keep the fans in the stadium - Miles was an idiot

Did you watch the last two games?
Fans leave even earlier during a blow out.

the system hasn’t yet been installed

The OP's premise is dumb. Miles is gone and the fans are still leaving early. That means they aren't enjoying the games any more now that they did for the last 11 years.

2013- we beat a jerk-off Iowa team by a touchdown in the prestigious Chik-fil-A bow, again despite having OBJ, Landry, Mett and Hill. We scored 21 points. Garbage.
Mett didn't play in that game. Jennings made his first college start.

2014-Losing to unranked Notre Dame in the prestigious Music City Bowl
I'll go ahead and assume you watched that game. If so, I'm sure you were as pissed off as I was when the officials called Kragthorpe down on the fake field goal attempt at the end of the first half. He clearly got into the end zone before his knee touched the turf. That was also the last game for Chavis, and he clearly mailed in his coaching performance that game.
You sound like the type that never wants to give the team or coaching staff the benefit of the doubt. Like someone else posted about "LSU lucked out beating a lousy Florida team", "thank god the tight end dropped the pass in the end zone." But it never goes both ways, like you saying "LSU lost to an unranked Notre Dame team", yet no mention of a blown call that cost LSU a touchdown, that could have won the game.
quote:
Do you even remotely get it? None of this is exciting.
That's your opinion. I'd rather watch a competitive game any day of the week over a blow out. Granted, the losses suck, But you do realize that all these other schools have good athletes that want to win just as much as LSU does, right?
quote:
Mix in 2-3 automatic wins each year against creampuff schools, and it's just more of the same.
Do you realize all of those schools that are winning 12, 13 or 14 games a year are also playing 2-3 cream puff schools as well? It's not just LSU.
I think you stated earlier that you were in school from 2001 to 2006. If that's the case, I assume that right now you're somewhere in your mid thirties. If so, your entire adult life has been during the most successful 15 or 16 years in LSU history.
I get being unhappy with the past couple of years, but god damn, each and every one of your posts has been nothing but whining, pissing and moaning.

Omg you are so stupid.... Ok the 1969 team Sucked cause Ricky says it did....
You have no reading comprehension
Please show me where i said they sucked.
I said they werent as dominant as 2011 lsu.
2011 lsu beat every opponent except 2 by 20 points.
Thats far more dominant than 1969.

And by your argument every team that has played LSU since 2012 was able to beat them because they knew what was coming
We were easier to defend.

Damn.
Literally the only thing you want to post about on this board is Miles and your Miles apologist crap.
"Real" LSU fan.
Exposed completely
What the frick are you talking about?
Stating FACTS about miles tenure is not
being an apologist. Its called reality.
Your opinion of miles' coaching ability is your opinion.
The success of Miles' tenure is not.
What kind of shite fan base gets mad when facts are posted about a coach's tenure.

Ha ha. Stating the facts about miles career isnt an argument. Its reality.
Its not an opinion that Miles has the best win %in lsu history.
Its a fact.

The only threads you have showing up with VERY rare exception since Miles was fired have been threads where you can talk about Miles and knock fans.
It isn't like you're posting on a variety of subjects covered on the front page. Nope. Good ole Rick. One trick pony.
You've outed yourself boy. Suck it up buttercup. You and Beefense have laid bare that everyone was right about you guys. Miles fans FIRST!
