Blair's Best Sport is Basketball

I don't get to listen to him much for basketball but he is very smooth calling the game.

I agree. Blair is at his best on the basketball call. That “D, D, D, Defeeense” cheer by the male cheerleaders is annoying as fk though. Makes me not want to listen.

Agreed. He and Brady do an excellent job. I’m usually not a turn down the TV and turn on the radio for local broadcast guy, but I now do it for LSU basketball.

I like them too. Blair is a Kentucky guy so maybe he has more passion or knowledge for that sport than the other 2.

I always thought basketball was Jim Hawthorne's best sport as well and baseball his worst.
Never understood why a he would be more adept at calling a faster sport than a slower one

Yep, he does a great job, really seems like a fan of the team and of Wade. Cool to see remembering the way he left. I hated the guy 10 years ago, now I tune in just to listen to him.

I wish him well, and I know he isnt going anywhere soon, but I really don't care for him for football. I don't even bother to bring my radio to the stadium anymore. He sounds like he should be doing Fox MLB or something. He's a huge departure from Furgeron and Hawthorne, both of whom had great and distinctive voices. Blair sounds too Pro. There's just no character at all. Again, i'm sure he's a great guy, but that does nothing for a college football broadcast.
