I believe by week 4 on 2nd and long or clear passing downs Perk will be at Jack with another LB coming into the game.

It was 1 game... I think they will shift back to having Perkins as a dog.
They fricking better.

When you have a guy that talented and turn him into a non-factor, you gotta reevaluate your decision.

Play the guy at what he's good at and that's being a disruptive force like he was last season. This game should tell Brian Kelly that he needs to play Harold Perkins much like he used him last year and that's lining him up all over the place and letting him go and get the QB or whomever has the ball and cause havoc. He tried him at something new in this game and it failed, it failed badly, so, go back to what works coach, please. I mean Dallas' uses Micah Parsons in the most disruptive way possible (rushing the QB) that he's really good at, LSU needs to do the same with Perkins and turn him loose.

Perk gave you the blueprint last year of how he can impact the game….why would you throw that away and try to turn him into a by-the-book ILB?

I don't expect Kelly to be stubborn the entire year. It took Kelly a few games to consistently play Perk last year so its very possible the experiment ends at some point and I do think the change will happen just not now. Which again I do think they should make the change now because he was completely lost in zone coverage. And so was Speights to be fair so having 2 guys lost in coverage is very concerning.

It is possible that he was brought in to wreck things.

Makes me wonder if he wants to play Inside and went to the staff… otherwise, he was asked to play it due to lack of LB talent.

Either way, I want him back on the LOS. He’s easily one of the top, If not the top pass rusher in the country.

Where do you think Perkins should play as an every down player and not just as a pass rush specialist?

Perkins should transfer for his on good. Brian Kelly is going to cost him a boatload of money when it’s time to move to the next level.
