I can excuse the Arkansas game as a come down week and being bruised up. Aggies? Nothing to say but frick them.

Let's be real, that Aggy team was talented as all hell. I think with a real coach they'd have been in the playoff

Sure. Best team money can buy. Worst team Jimbo can coach. I still say frick them.

BK never would have made that statement at ND. It's like he's a totally different cat.

Has to be refreshing for him not having to be buttoned up in a suit and tie every day.

I'm sure the talent he sees everyday gives him more confidence than what he was seeing at ND

The difference is pretty big.
SEC. The way we played Bama. The way we exploded all over Purdue. This team is going to hurt some folks this year.

My point is that we were very inconsistent, just like FSU. You can't only look at the good games we played. You have to look at the bad ones too.

That's a dumb thing to say in public. Nothing shrimp boat did or said surprised me. I thought Kelly was smarter than that.

You’re right but I think we expected the bad ones. We went into the season with a new QB and a roster of transfer players. Hell, many were happy we were able to field a team after the losses we had. Last years team exceeded expectations in their good games and certainly by winning the West.

He said something along the same lines leading up to the FSU last game too.

nothing shows the consistent dominant performances that you would see out of a team that is in the top 10 this season.
I'm as big of an LSU fan as the next person but do you think LSU showed the consistency you say FSU lacked down the stretch last year? Enough so to be in the top 10 this season?

If FSU doesn’t use this as motivation
I've heard too many people say that if you aren't motivated on your own merit then bulletin board material isn't going to make a difference anyway.

Not a great comparison. Norvell was in his third year at FSU last year, and had a much more complete roster. We were a patchwork at best, but figured it out and improved drastically as the season progressed until the lack of depth caught up to us. You saw in the bowl game what we were capable of when rested. I know it was just Purdue, but we looked incredibly polished.

LSU got dominated by a really really bad an and m team. Then got absolutely arse blasted by uga. Then they beat a complete gutted Purdue team.

I didn't expect to get embarrassed by A&M last year.

It will be another bad loss for BK. If he is such a great coach, then LSU has to win this game. I do not think that FSU will just blow LSU off the ball, but who knows how good either team is. They need to find a way to win.

That one hurt. And I expected to lose that game at the beginning of the season, not be embarrassed, though. But frick aTm anyway.
