Should we send the link to the OT billionaires

Absolutely! One of them probably has a brother-in-law that owns the billboard company.

If someone gives me the dimensions of the board in question I'll be happy to knock one out.

Digital or vinyl?

I'm assuming digital...it'll take forever to get vinyl printed and installed.

Digital for what's called a bulletin should be 1400X400 at 72 DPI. If it's smaller one called a poster, it should be 840X400 at 72 DPI.

What's it need to say? Keep in mind we can't use any LSU imagery, etc.

If somebody is going to head this up, they'll have to provide an image file to the billboard company. I'd suggest requesting something from the Fark board... but here's some restrictions. This is taken from Lamar Outdoor Advertising but I assume most companies have similar rules

quote:

Copyrights: A copyright is an original work created by a person. If you want to use written material, photos, or artwork in your advertisement created by someone else, you need written permission from the copyright owner. .

quote:

Photographs: Advertisers must obtain permission of the copyright owner of a photograph (usually the photographer). If the photograph is of a person, you will need permission of the person depicted in the photograph to use his or her likeness.

quote:

Trademark: A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol, or design that identifies and distinguishes the source of goods or services. Like copyrights, one must obtain permission to use a trademark belonging to another in its advertisement. Altering another’s trademark for use in your advertisement may constitute trademark dilution and infringement.

So if you're using something created by a Tigerdroppings user, you'll need their written permission, don't use an image of Devin White unless you get his written permission and don't use any LSU logos or official branding which would include Devin White in an LSU uniform.
