Running Back - Chris Curry, Ty Davis-Price, John Emery, (Zack Evans?)
Left Tackle - Dare Rosenthal, Cameron Wire, Marcus Dumervil, Thomas Perry
Guard spots - Kardell Thomas, Ed Ingram, Jakori Savage, Donavaughn Campbell, Anthony Bradford, Chasen Hines
Center - Chasen Hines, Charles Turner
DE opposite Logan - Neil Farrell, Justin Thomas?, Jarrell Cherry, Nelson Jenkins, Travez Moore, Jaquelin Roy, Jacobian Guillory
OLBs - Marcel Brooks, Andre Anthony, Ray Thornton, Desmond Little, Soni Fonua, Phillip Webb
ILBs - Damone Clark, Micah Baskerville, Donte Starks, Antoine Sampah, Josh White
CB opposite Stingley - Cordale Flott, Jay Ward, Raydarious Jones, Elias Rick, Dwight McGlothern
Kick Returner - Jontre Kirklin, Kayshon Boutte, John Emery, Derek Stingley, Trey Palmer
I didn't include QB because I feel Brennan's got that spot all but locked up which can be good and bad - good because he'll get so many reps with the 1s; bad because he may not be pushed by competition (although I don't think he'll have an issue with motivation after 3 years of waiting for his opportunity).
Let me know if I missed a position or a player.

I think Stevens slides into one of the linebacker spots, thus creating a position battle for 3rd corner/strong safety.

Really interested to see who’s the backup QB

A lot of players gone and a lot to replace. It will be interesting to see who steps up.

Highly unlikely.

Some of these battles will depend on if we're in a 30 front or a 40 front.

100% think Stevens will be primary OLB, atleast he should be.
That would put Todd Harris, Maurice Hampton, Cam Lewis, Eric Monroe, Dwight McGlothern (pretty sure we want him at safety)
Kary Vincent also plays some safety so he could get a lot of PT there.

Really interested to see who can step up at OLB. We know Brooks can play but we're going to need more than him. Not to mention Brooks may be a bit undersized to be a full time OLB that can also play the run well. Same goes for ILB. I'm not sold on Baskerville being a capable starter so I'd like to see one of the younger players make a splash there.

Slot Receiver: Kayshon Boutee, Jontre Kirklin, Racey McMath, Trey Palmer

Ingram and Thomas at Guards will be nasty

Yea I’m not the least bit worried about our run blocking. With Kardell, Big Ed, and Hines 57 on the interior there is going to be mass carnage for opposing fronts.

Left of Ali Gaye on the end opposite of Logan. Hopefully he shows up ready to play. Always skeptical about JUCO players. He looks the part.

Grad transfer center would be nice

I think the starting Offensive Line will be
LT- Deculus
LG- Ingram
C - Hines
RG- Thomas
RT- Toss Up

Could have stopped here. Flott was great at teh back end of the season after bulking a little.
I think we'll be VERY blessed at DB and not really thin at all, as long as the safeties stay healthy.

Racey will be an outside receiver mostly, but get slot snaps by way of motions, etc.
He blew folks off the ball on deep routes in his limited action this season, so him opposite of Chase is going to be a GREAT threat. I think you're more likely to see Terrace in the slot.
Jontre and Palmer will see significant snaps in 4-wide and 5-wide sets when we have no TE on the field.

I think Ingram at one of the guards is a given. The other guard spot is interesting to me. I think Kardell is a monster who is going to be an absolute mauler for our o-line, though Hines might be a bit more developed at the moment. Hines can move to center though, so I think the position battle is actually Kardell at guard vs. Charles Turner at center, with Hines playing in the position of whoever loses that battle.
