What was the difference? Was Shula that much better of a recruiter than DiNardo?

Perhaps the Bama program didn't have as many issues within when Saban took over as LSU did when Saban took over.

I said had he been LSU's DBs coach under Bill Arnsparger, he would not have come out of the Locker room at halftime, with the perfomance his DBs produced against Florida in 2001. Maybe I wasn't clear enough

Yeah, but that came out of no where. I'm aware of what you say but the larger purpose of your post was to knock Saban, as if to make him out to be a weak coach. I think your effort to do that was unsuccessful.

Florida in that sixty something blowout.

Auburn 06. Angriest I've ever been at a game. Ever.

Judge is right about the Jamie Howard debacle when our idiot coach continued to call passes and Jamie continued to throw into triple coverage.Auburn's offense couldn't do shite vs our D.... but the good thing is it got our coach fired so he couldn't continue his awful coaching at LSU.

am I the only one to suggest Florida 1993?
58-3 at home on ESPN.

How did this thread get 7 pages before this game got mentioned? That game was the low point of the football program, and is the worst defeat in the history of LSU football. Way worse than losing to Tennessee in 2005 with homeless people living in the PMAC at the time, way worse than not getting a FG attempt off against Ole Miss last year, and definitely way worse than losing to Reggie Reginelli and Tulane in 1982 or even UAB in 2000. If that game doesn't embarrass you as an LSU fan, I don't know what does.
