QB, RB or CB?

For me, RB - I can't remember ever going into a season with so little known about our running backs. Hoping to see star quality in Clyde Edwards-Helaire tonight.

Tyler Shelvin

Breiden Fehoko
Jonathon Giles
Thaddeus Moss

The "new" guys who may wind up as starters.

OL.. Because if they can’t perform, the three you listed won’t matter.

It's a spring game. no need to worry of focus on anything. Just enjoy it.

Passing game for sure. That way I know if it will be like the other years or not. Hoping to see at least some progression with QB’s and routes

You will get an idea of the depth.

From Dandy's this morning:

"We don’t expect pass protection to be all that tonight. Why? Because LSU has been without its two projected starting tackles in Saahdiq Charles and Austin Deculus all spring. Actually, Charles returned to practice this week wearing a gold no-contact jersey, leading us to believe it’s doubtful he’ll play much, if any, tonight. Because of that, and because LSU’s defensive front seven is expected to be nasty, we fully expect LSU to have some trouble keeping a clean pocket. That said, tonight’s game should provide a glimpse into LSU’s depth at the tackle position while giving fans a first look at former JUCO sensation Badara Traore

former JUCO guard Damien Lewis. He’s battling Garrett Brumfield and Edward Ingram for a starting guard spot and a strong performance tonight would go a long way toward him locking down the gig."

Offensive play calling

Watch a lot of nfl, when essmingers offense is more of the same we have seen from the program recently and nothing close to sean mcvays rams offenses, I will shut it off

I don’t think anyone thought Hester or Ridley would have ever been “feature” type SEC backs. Y’all think back - did anyone see / predict the success of those two? I’m pretty sure I remember thinking (before the season) “really? That’s who we’re going to war with?”. Admittedly I may be in the minority on this, but I just don’t remember thinking those two would be as good as they turned out to be.

That's not the only positive thing though. The depth and talent on the lines is very important. the defense should be VERY good.

The lines...both offense & defense! Meat & potatoes of a football team.
