I was at the game and the rain was a deluge for a while before they finally kicked off.
My son and I couldn’t believe how well the field held up. Major props to the grounds / field maintenance crew.
Also, considering how wet it was I think there was only one fumble. Pretty amazing.

Was watching on tv and Booger said on the pregame that the field at tiger stadium was the best field he’s ever played on. The asked and he talked about the crown and how well it drained.

The term running downhill was outside runs because you were literally running downhill due to the crown of the field back in the day.

I agree on this, when we saw the field during warm ups, I noticed that there was no puddling, no mud, no slickness, nothing
It was a fast track, and we immediately hammered the over along with LSU

Desmond Howard Commented that an NFL scout was there and he was marveling at the talent LSU had while warming up and then reached down and told Desmond feel the ground. It’s not even wet. They knew Clemson was in trouble at that point
