Big 3 SEC finishes

Football - 10th out of 16 teams - fired the coach, he hid the QB injury, forced it and it backfired and cost him. If he had developed and played a backup, won against Vandy and won one more, he would still be the coach.
Basketball - 14th out of 16 teams - fired the coach, should have been fired a year earlier.
Baseball - 13th out of 16 teams. Coach is safe, but lost his edge. Wrongly evaluated transfer players. Bad pitching was the #1 problem, had pitching been just average, we could have won a handful of games and have a sure shot at post season.
I cannot remember it ever being this bad for the Big 3. We also lost in each Big 3 sports to Ole Miss and Vandy (the school many say should not be in the SEC)
Really tough to accept, but it’s got to get better.

Vanderbilt is a founding member of the SEC. They’ve been here since the league was formed in 1932. They aren’t going anywhere and shouldn’t

As bad as this season was, I’d bet football and basketball have winning SEC records next season.
Baseball has a difficult rebuild on its hands and would not surprise me if we’re 12-18 in league next year and stuck in 12th or 13th.. I don’t see a path to 17 plus conference wins. No pitching and losing Milam & Curiel is brutal.

2 of the 3 have brand new coaches and the other won just won a championship less than 365 days ago. We’ll be ok get some fresh air.

Well thank goodness now in the NIL era if you hit on many of the portal guys then there is no such thing as a rebuild and can potentially go back to CWS next year. Jay can turn this team into a championship level team within a year with the portal/NIL.

You're doing a horrible job of confirming your "I don't want Jay fired" take, when you are conceding, at a minimum, 14 games without even seeing who we play.
You want this program to fail. It's very clear. It's the only thing that brings you joy. Programs failing and coaches getting fired.
