I don't believe he is going to be our next coach, but this does intrigue me, because the house doesn't bluff. They may be wrong, but they aren't trying to lure in suckers. This is coming from somewhere.

They had Sumrall first when BK was fired. Then it shifted to Joe Brady when Tulane lost to UTSA.

I can't put much stock in it.

I learned a long time ago that you never say something won’t happen. It’s been proven too many times to not be the case. I still have a hard time believing he will coach here though.

Imagine living life, seeing all kinds of wild shite happen, and still speaking in absolutes.

-1150 odds on Kalshi

I believe Kalshi is a betting site. -1150 means you would have to risk 1150 to win 100. Which are ridiculous, extremely high odds. Those are the kind of odds you see when LSU plays Southern or Grambling.

I think I'll stay away from this one because if I bet on it then the odds of it actually happening get drastically worse. For example, I bet on Nuss to win the Heisman this year.

These are my thoughts as well.

basically you'd win 200 if you bet 100. He was 75/1 last week, so either someone bet a shite ton of money on him so the line moved im guessing, or something else changed drastically.

People can repeat this over and over again but coaching is what this guy is made for so id be more shocked if he never coached again.

Again, these are not real casinos. They are sketchy offshore sports booking websites. Yes, trying to lure in suckers by constantly shifting odds on new coaxhing hires is exactly what they are trying to do. All of these bets have low maximum bets, they are at no real risk.

Notice how the website isn’t even a .com but a .ag for Antigua?

Those aren't the odds he was asking about. He was asking about a post from "jim" a couple of posts above his, "Kalshi -1150".

well he's 74 years old and saw what college football had become with NIL and the portal, and he wanted none of it.

That's why he retired.

And you think he's now going to jump back in???

You calling me an idiot? For what? For posting a fact? I didn't post that Saban is going to be the next coach (I actually don't think he will), but that he now has the highest odds. That's a fact from a betting website. You don't think that's worth a discussion on an LSU message board? That doesn't intrigue you at all?

I would love for Saban to take the job just to laugh in the face of everyone guaranteeing 0% chance it happens.

Which could be right, but nobody knows shite

I’m not sure what the hell he’ll do, but folks change their minds all the time.
