Best pregame and postgame, non-tailgate meal in BR

U are allowed to stipulate difference between pre football meals and pre baseball meals...Mike Andersons, Chimes, Superior, Louie's, etc...? Wait times, atmosphere, food, location, must all be considered.
The correct answer is Louie's before and Superior after. Or, Superior before and Louie's after...depending on game time.

You can't beat Hungry Howie's after tailgating all day and a few hours at the bar

I don't usually eat before games but when I have it's been Chimes or Pluckers.

Do every game day morning at Louie’s. After, as we wait 2 hours for the traffic to clear, is always tailgate food part 2 - and a nice cigar.

Sammy’s before. Ruth Chris after.

George’s is under rated and overpriced. Always great food but could get Mike Anderson’s for that price.

Walk ons for baseball just for convenience of walking.
Football, to me location matters as much as anything. If on campus or near campus, go to Lit pizza postgame drunk. Pregame at mellow mushroom. Pizza and beer is all you need.

Superior sucks. It's not 1998 anymore.

Not in Baton Rouge, but after a full day of boozing and watching football, Ben's Burgers on Clearview hits the spot at 1am.

Amen to this. Superior used to be one of my favorite places, and after almost 20 years in Texas, we went back to Superior, and it was not good at all. Very disappointed.

Which location are y’all referring to? There are two now. I find it hard to believe that it’s been sliding down since both locations are always packed.
