How does a practice squad guy get any consideration? Don't you actually have to play to be considered good? At least James Wright got some live action.

It's great when a young man gets to play in the NFL, but I want them to be super while at the college team I pull for.

Reminds me of a coach bragging on Adrian Hubbard just the other day, who had tons of potential, was a starter at Bama but never seemed to play with the intensity a 2* or walk-on would have. He, IMHO could have been a beast at the college level.

6 years ago if you told me that Danny McCray would play in more NFL games than Craig Steltz, would replace Steltz on the Bears roster in 2014, and would still be in the NFL today, I would have told you you were smoking crack.

Started 3 games at LSU.

he did indeed, but he also saw a lot of playing time early on in the season because hill was suspended.
