Oh please. Tommy would've seen ZERO playing time had he been on any LSU team from 2008-2011.
then the athlete can't be considered "all time". that would mean that, if your choice was patrick peterson, then he would have to be the greatest defender in 50 years from now. all time, right?
so........the title should read, up til now.

At the time(dumbass) he was a three time all American
Tommy would get smoked in today's game.

Thats like saying Pistol Pete wouldn't be as good in today's college basketball.

hard to tell. growing up with a fricking egg crate for the helmet cushion, no water breaks at practice, and a diet that only parents in the 60's would feed their children HAS to play a factor. if he would have grown up in the 90-00's, things would have been different i'm sure. if he had the same heart and drive that he had in the 60-70's, it would be hard to argue that he wouldn't have been twice as good.

imagine if tommy was exposed to the weight programs that current players are exposed to? i doubt that st. michael's high school in crowley had a weight room the size of john curtis'. nor did they have the weight program as it wasn't pushed back then.

Eh,no. Tommy Cassanova by a landslide over those two. Maybe a few others, too.

your assuming that he would have played cb? after working out with modernized shite, it's possible that he would have been moved to safety and............that could have made him a 4 time all american.

Ok.... Dalton Hilliard>>>>>>>>>> Leonard Fornette....... wanna play???????
Hilliard:
Seasons: 4
Games: 44
Rushing Yards: 4050
YPC: 4.6
Rushing TDs: 44
Rec Yards: 1133
Rec TDs: 6
Fournette:
Seasons: 3
Games: 32
Rushing Yards: 3830
YPC: 6.2
Rushing TDs: 40
Rec Yards: 526
Rec TDs: 1
Considering that Buga played in 12 fewer games & had very comparable stats, I don't think I need to explain further how Fournette was a better RB than Hilliard.

I had no idea LSU football started in 2010. Who was I watching before then?

Peterson’s INTs need to have an * for that no call at Bama

Honey badger was the most exciting player and was a turnover machine. I will go with Honey Badger

I sure wish Peterson would have ended up in KC this season with a shot at a title and be able to play along side Mathieu. Would be awesome to watch.

you sound like a female. I like females but they seem obsessed with selecting "what's your favorite", "who's the best ever", type of comments.
there is no such thing as the one "best" defensives LSU player of all time. we've had great players at all positions, defense or offense and it doesn't make sense to only select one as the "best"
