Also would have to mention the strong play of the Hornets for about three years, terrific showings by many of LSU's minor sports, and several Louisiana and LSU guys winning world championships, (Manning, Wayne, McFarland,Davis,Shaq,Hill,Springer,Faulk,Alexander,Faneca,Kinchen,Green,Gay and I'm sure many more). One heck of a decade with a great deal more glory than the #2 on my list which is the '80's.

The 2000 Baseball Championship was not in this decade. The 21'st century started January 1, 2001. Now, jmschamber if you did not know that ,maybe your dumb?
