I always think of the top half of the first round that way for football too. The shitty teams usually.

I have to agree, this line will definitely be much better. Note repeating both ends and logan are more seasoned. The most note worthy aspect of this that Ego from all indication out performed the freak during the spring, so our depth is going to be crazy good. A hungry freak and a hungry Ego. Let me be the first the say "LSU has a FREAK N EGO!!!9/90.

This years line will be better than last years even after losing Brockers just like last years secondary got better after losing Peterson. Theres no need to cry about Brockers being gone. The experience we gain makes up for it

Others have mentioned '03, which may still be #1, and 2011 was outstanding as well.

I'll throw out '97: McFarland, Jarvis Green, Arnold Miller, Kenny Mixon, Chuck Wiley and, though a freshman, Ty Barnes.

And they played well together with a relatively weak LB corps behind them.

Man, marquis hill and marcus spears playing ends in a 4-3 at the college level was amazing.

Every Single running play seemingly got ran about of bounds because there was never anywhere to turn up-field. They were really two NFL 3-4 ends out there. This explains why Saban used odd-blitzes all the time to get to the quarterback; cause those ends weren't rushing the edge, they were shutting it down.

Lavalais had a stellar performance against Auburn that year at home.

Kyle Williams undoubtedly goes on the All-Unhearalded Team.

Very much agreed. Glad you mentioned Rasco and Edwards. Sam/Mingo better not look over their shoulder.
