Touche Mr. LSUBRAD5277. That women you describe is much reflective of many fans that show late leave early.

What we do agree on is that we love the Tigers.

Godspeed to you sir and your soon-to-be deliquent kids.

how many stupid mistakes JJ makes or how dump the playcalling is will depend on how many words and phrases my kids learn this year. May have to break out a thesaurus if it gets to bad.

My only emploration to you is to be positive. As an LSU fan, the glass if half full.

FWIW, here is what I think...that JJ will be much improved with a scaled back playbook, a new coordinator, and a year's worth of maturation and confidence.

FWIW, here is what I know...nothing.

Do not blame LSU's success or failure on one 20 year old.

I am optimistic that JJ can do good this year, hell I want him to do good. I sincerely hope that Krags will be able to mentor him and make him a decent QB. I actually felt bad for him when everyone was booing him but I was one of the ones begging for Lee to start also. Oh well never know until the end what will happen.

FWIW I too know nothing so heres hoping for a great year.

Moock? Who?
Chris Moock I believe it was; he gets extra negative credit for who he was recruited over.
He was one of 2 big name QBs in the BR area in the later 80's; Moock was at Baker and was the better pure passer, and Bucky Richardson was at Broadmoor and was more athletic. We signed Moock and Richardson ended up going to Texas A&M. I don't know it for fact, but a lot of folks assumed they both wanted LSU... Bucky had a great career for A&M, while Moock was never able to start after Hodson left.
I kinda blame our lack of signing Richardson on the choice to take Moock instead; I do sorta remember him playing some in the awful years, throwing to Todd Kinchen etc.

Does he also get negative credit for being our starting 3rd baseman on the 1991 championship team?

Hatch is by the worst QB to start. If 3 isn't enough starts to qualify than I would say Randall. But Randall can at least say QB wasn't his best position.

Don't be ragging on Tittle. The guy is a legend. Great QB who I had the honor of interviewing 5 years ago. But as far as BEST QB at LSU I've seen in my time following LSU (only been following since 95) Ill go with Mauck. He had a terrific year in 2003 that beats out Davey.

Russell just had too many brain farts for me.

As far as WORST - Yes Jefferson has been struggling but Lee in 2008 was bad. Those INTs geez. Glad the guy recovered.

Worst - Jarret Lee

This.

Also remember the Chad Loupe/Jessie Daigle year being pretty painful.

Mauck was the worst starter on the 2003 team.

He isn't in the same league as Russell or Davey.

Mauck had a better completion % and 10 more touchdowns than Rohan and his stats were similar to Russells in 06. He may not have been as talented but he made the best of it. Def not the worst starter.

And as bad as I remember Randall being this is funny.

2004 Marcus Randall 162 102 1,269 9 > 2010 Jo. Jefferson 209 118 1,411 7

Jimmy Fields a very good quarterback. Was red shirted for Cotton Bowl, LSU was considering activating him. Next year starting and winning QB Sugar Bowl. Next year starting and winning QB Orange Bowl. Almost a triple crown!
