The injury didn’t help, but having to score 8+ runs to win games isn’t ideal.

Our injuries added up.
Dugas
Berry
Milazxo
Doughty
Morgan

All were big.

A healthy Coleman would have helped too.

But our pitching and fielding were all lacking and that was going to be our downfall sooner or later. We had a seriously flawed team.

Berry’s injury didn’t make the pitching go to shite. Everyone lost it right at the same time

Hasty
Dutton
Cooper
Reyzelman
Taylor

All gave you good innings earlier in the season and we’re pretty shite the last couple of weeks

All of this. All our good bullpen arms completely lost it all at once

I had the same thought. He was either the leader in HRs or close to the top and he has not been the same since he came back. I think he was our most dependable hitter, prior to his injury.
The same can be said for Morgan. He is also was a better more dependable player prior to his injury, although he has regained much of his hitting but not his power.
